One of the minor holidays, yes.. But no not let it go by without a shot...

A great harbinger of spring. If luck is with us and the sun shines, only 6 more weeks of winter.

Always look forward to that hopeful idea..

Now the idea is to preserve that strange chuck so the event can be re staged if the glacier lasts longer then you wish..

You may need a shovel to free a deep sleeper before you can nail him with a short shot and keep him on the back porch for the rest of the freeze..

So to all, good luck and good hunting.. keep the chuck at home..


darn.....I have lose all my wood chuck pics in the lost files which make up my computer..

this will have to do.. Think I saw one of these last summer..
