Dear Floyd. That is a well thought out an reasoned comment. I believe the reason there is so much animosity is because most conservatives feel our country was brought to the brink and we're still struggling to find a balance in the correction mode. The other problem is one that you state in your post "you vote liberal because you care about your fellow man". Conservatives find this sort of thinking specious and incomprehensible. Conservatives care so much about our fellow man that we are trying to resurrect "the land of opportunity "

Yes we are at the brink.

You give the Conservative to much credit for caring for the poor.
I think that you are barking up the wrong tree with that.
I am quite sure that you may feel that way personally.

Our personal well being & security is only as good as most people we come in to contact with on a day to day basis.
If you look around I think you would agree that there is a lot of personal unrest in the World today.
That is the issue we need to look at closely.

If it wasn't for the banking system using my money to play games for their own enrichment & paid me a fair return on my money I might agree with you
At least enough to keep up with inflation..

I say that there is not going to be much of any thing good for the common people coming out of Washington any time soon.

I take comfort in meeting the every day sort of down to earth types.
Those that do all of the important things that we come in to contact with.

I'm with you Linda!according to a book just finished it's not really DHS that needs the ammo
but Deep State to change America as we know it.most who have attempted to reveal those deepstaters(and there are lots) have met ill fates or pulled a Jimmy Hoffa.
as a whole I like them all being I have seen most before .... Well done.

I take umbrage with your conservative and poor comment. First off all polls on the topic show conservatives are more charitable than liberals. Secondly; who’s more charitable the Coservative giving 10% of their income to church, volunteering to pack school lunches for poor children, helping veterans, or the liberal demanding tax’s be raised so more programs can be funded to help the poor?

Not really, Obama will never get any respect from me, he deserves none, and his legacy will prove so.

Welcome to the quay, I just today got re-instated. Seems that the left can say anything they want but the right needs to restrict themselves. Oh well, it's their thread. Mike

Most people feel that they only want a fair shake in life.
Having a job is the key.
Giving value for value is what makes it all work better.
It is not reciving value for giving value is the issue most find missing.

I say that this Nation under values most of it citizons.
The system support money over human input.

To many that get even a little value.
Over rate the value they get for the value they give.

By supporting the Money Exchangers & Lenders.

Most of the unrest we see in the World today is touched by the unfair Values.

Would you stop bloviating and give us your version of a better system. I think most in the US can over come their lot in life by hard work and education. Harder for some but that's when you dig in.
