Excuse me you had better not have been referring to me in that statement. I was just trying to get the troll to back off his constant Alinski's personal attacks if only for a few hours.

Hey, now watch what you say about Cruz. I know the man. He is morally into trying to save this country. He sees that danger and I believe the tea party will ruin his chances with the Reps. He really is honest and experienced, hell he was schooled under and worked for no less than the Honorable Judge Rehnquist. He won a number of fights in the Texas Supreme Court and the Supreme Court. He knows his stuff and he is a real Constitutional stickler. I told him it "would be a cold and lonely place in Washington for people like yourself." He told me that he worked for the 26 million Texans who elected him and expect him to do what he promised he would do. Cruz is honest and you can go back and look at the way he voted and how he votes now and the figures do not lie. Everything he said we would do he is trying to get done. Like for one example, the Keystone Pipeline. Obama doesn't want it in because it would create jobs. Cruz wants it in because it would create millions of jobs and less dependence of foreign oil. He also voted against this latest bit by Boener to give Obama every dime he asked for with no strings. This proves Beoner is a RINO and needs to go. Live Love from the great country of Texas! I get the tea party all of the time in my emails.. It consists of one short paragraph of doomsday, dire warnings meant to scare you and then there's the donation, donation, donation, I am about to get them unsubscribed. But sometimes they do have info that I didn't know before. But it seems more hyped up that it realistically is. Live Love from the great country of Texas!

You sound like a true moderate, if want tireless propaganda subscribe to "move on . Org." . Everyday they ask if I'm ready for Hillary and then ask me to let the know with a donation. Obama got elected by billions of people willing to donate their last dollar, why not Hillary? I think the TeaParty intimidates the extreme left, just like Cruz and Palin. I hope they keep going, they are raising awareness with many towards our current political situation. We all know now that Obama is either a habitual liar or he is surrounded by idiots writing everything he says. I don't recall Cruz Palin Reagan, either Bush ever using a TelePrompTer! So how is it that with an Ivy League education, he can not speak on his own? How could he not know the constitution? He has so much to sweep under the rug, the next elected president is sure to give him a pardon. The democrats have really screwed up with this guy, I think the republicans are going to take the senate, keep congress, but it may be a stretch to take the house. Thanks for the Cruz info!

The tea party has been a fraud from the beginning. Gullible chumps were led to believe it was a grass roots movement when it was really a top down operation funded and organized by the Sleazy Texas big oil boys who took advantage of the disgust felt by a bunch of peckerwood racists, Birchers and Klansmen that a man of color was elected president. It is hard to decide what must amuse the Big Oil brothers more, the chaos and stagnation they are causing our country or their ability to get a bunch of half bright dolts to jump up and down and howl like trained circus dogs.

[quote=BoJester]The leadership of teaparty's are raking in millions of dollars from the faithful ignorant and stupid who make up the local chapters.

They spend these millions of dollars on themselves, other "adminsistrative" costs, promotion of their favorites like palin, cruz, fat limburg and the fools at faux, like hannuty and renting donor lists to beg for more money.

This leaves little money to support actual candidates or issues.

No wonder the real republican party has the support of the chamber of commerce and business interests as well as the K Street lobby boys.

The teaparty beatdown will be fun to watch in the midterms

Maybe darrell issa should conduct another investigation. He might actually find the greed, graft and corruption he wants so bad.

I am just curious. Rather than posting threads and web sights. Have you ever considered Oh! I don't know actually looking up the demographics on the tea party members. I am not even going to bother regurgitating your blatantly biased Opinion. What you lack is substance. Facts to back up your opinion. Better recognized as Qualitative, Quantitative, Empirical evidence.

If you are going to make blanket statements than please do your homework. I could simply say all progressive,Liberal, Tree hugging, Statist , Democrats are blindly following an Ideology.
However, that is sweeping with a rather broad brush. Although, this may be my sentiments exactly. I am objective enough to recognize that posting same is not prudent unless I am able to back that statement up. For example, I have researched, Greek, Italian and Frances economics.. They were a dismal failure. Hence the reason they inevitably collapsed. That is a fact not an opinion... If you want a arena to just bitch about something, than please go talk to your cat...

Let's try this again.

Do you believe that governmental corruption is a problem that should be addressed?

I have tried the objective approach with Bo. Unfortunately, I have failed to make dent in his armor. This individual appears to be incapable of have a reasonable correspondence on any issue without injecting some meaningless arbitrary rudeness. I would say I am sorry for him. However, I don't even know this individual. I appreciate your kindness towards him.

Until there are term limits that will keep them from making it a life long steal and lie fest nothing will change no matter if its democrats, republicans, tea party, or any other party...they are there for the good of all not themselves and special interest which is all its been for way to long.

I agree that American political process has always been this way, since John Adams.

Term limits sound appealing, but some voters claim they have the right to keep the representative they want for as long as they want. That is why they keep electing him/her.
Who should decide what term limits are at the national level?

Many state/local governments have imposed term limits, but some of those entities still have some of the same problems.

then we continue this downhill spiral and go the way of prior great countries and civilizations since it seems that only the very rich can hold office now and like any dictatorship or old world monarchy the power will remain in the family... I heard this quote a long time ago and as true as it was then it is today....".FREEDOM IS JUST AN ILLUSION "

What do I have against the tea party? Very simply they are out for their own particular interest, rather than for the larger interest of the community as a whole. The Founding Fathers did not think so. In fact, an very important article written by our 4th President James Madison, actually thought that one of the greatest advantages of the new Constitution was precisely that it would undermine the effects of factions. As long as citizens think, act and vote as members of interest groups rather than as members of society as a whole, the true interests of the society will be ignored and the struggle for partisan advantage. Television pundits may look down their noses at lobbying and letter writing campaigns, but these are, according to the pluralist theory of democracy, the legitimate and essential means by which the will of the people is translated into the law of the land. if interest group politics you must have the money to keep getting more attraction. I always said that if John F. Kennedy would not have been killed, we would have already been raising these very same arguments then instead of now. The saying has it what goes around comes around. It isn't only dictators who say the state takes priority over the citizen. Kennedy had the same vision of Italian fascist Mussolini, in an attempt to inspire his listeners with a selfless patriotism, a willingness to to of themselves for the good of the country, Kennedy declared:"Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." No one would ever call Kennedy a fascist, but how different really is Kennedy's famous appeal than Mussolini's statement that the State is "the true reality of the individual"? They want to use state power, military power of the state to suppress dissent or opposition. Isn't this Obama's regime? Homeland security? No more on a war footing but rather a national footing. That we need neighborhood militias that have the same powers as homeland security? Something to think about, huh? Live Love from the great country of Texas!
