His tax cuts and increased spending started the increasing national debt and deficits and decline in the standard of living.

Your boy in the white house can not hold shit to Reagan. If you watched your hero make his State of the Union speech you should have noticed the first 15 minutes where all lies, not one word of truth. Is that what makes you proud to be a democrat? You are a sad sack.
Maybe if you stop reading all the commie news site you may have a day of insite.

Present Reagan's overall rating (by the people, of both parties), was in the high nineties, and that is the "report card" that counts.

Sure Reagan made a mistake in Beruit, however if you check your facts 70% of the U.S. casualties in Afghanistan have come under Obama's watch. This due to the changes of ROE. Yes Reagan was a chicken hawk as some say, however so was Bush, Clinton, and Obama. Presidents make decisions based upon input from their staff, the CIA, the NSA, and other government agencies. We could sit here all day and go back and forth over which president made the worst war time and peace time armed forces decisions and we will get no where. Bringing up the past to compare to the current president is a moot point. The situation at each president's time of decision are completely different and have no bearing on past, present and future presidential decisions.
As for the debt, sure Reagan started out increasing the debt rather swiftly. However, he did come to the conclusion that we need to slow down the spending. He made a deal with the Congressional Democrats on the budget. The democrats promised Reagan $3 of debt reduction for every $1 of new spending. They conveniently left that out when it came time for the debt limit increase. Reagan was foolish only in thinking he could trust the democrats. Of course this is a back and forth debacle because each party has promised things to the other and did not come through. The debt increase in this circumstance belongs to the democrats. Not Reagan.
Yes there were a lot of people indicted in Reagan's administration. However at that time the press actually did their job as they were supposed to. If they would put in just 1/3rd the effort they did then I believe we would be seeing a lot of indictments coming from Obama's administration. Congressional hearings are a waste of time, everyone pleads the fifth and the press won't do their job to find out the truth. There is too much smoke in all of these scandals with Obama not to be fire. However like I said we could go back and forth all day about which president had the most corrupt administration to no avail. There is little truth being told by today's media. This is a shame because just as those in Reagan's administration should have been indicted, there are many in Obama's that should be.

Obama as Catalyst and Attractor
I am currently entertaining the following view:

Obama is nothing less than a catalyst and an attractor for the visible emergence of the negative elite into the broad light of day.

As such, Obama's presidency takes on the strange form of a static showdown, in which everyone who is anyone in the ranks of negative power shows up for the party.

How else can one explain the strange manner in which Obama seemed to effortlessly alight into the field of politics and roust out the Bush faction with nary a scratch....only to become eerily surrounded and enmired by the play of strangeness and seeming helpless paralysis that has beset his presidency?

I see this as potentially being nothing less than Obama performing the perhaps inevitable and even necessary function of catalyzing the cabal's self-exposure prior to E.T. disclosure.

This function may require Obama to appear -- and maybe even actually become -- paralyzed, with hands firmly tied, while the cabal renders itself strangely visible in order to try to enact their failed end game in all the ways it is apparently doing.

This hands-tied role may be precisely what he is here to enact, while allowing the cabal to play their last card, and in so doing reveal their hand. (In this context, the term "poker face" takes on renewed significance.)

The unnerving drama that is the result of this showdown may amount to humanity's unwitting collective dark night of the soul, as David Wilcock often suggests.

Here, instead of a single individual maintaining a spiritual practice while undergoing exhaustive exposure to one's personality wherever it exists in structural separation from God, humanity as a whole may now be undergoing an exhaustive exposure to those hidden structures in our society that would strive to maintain mankind's separation from God.

Obama, to the degree he genuinely is a uniquely empowered being born precisely for this type of role, may, simply by occupying the office of President, be performing a priestly, even shamanic function as planetary catalyst of our collective dark night.

He may even be performing this role to the point of acting as a kind of planetary exorcist: drawing the negative elite directly into the light of day, as it rushes to enact its end game before its time runs out.

This kind of view helps me appreciate the possibility that Obama's apparent ineffectiveness at this time is inconsequential to the true function he is performing.

The primary indicator that his presidency is effective may precisely be the appearance of things being otherwise, while we endure these final assaults by the cabal before they are disempowered by their own hand.

If so, our work remains cut out for us: to withstand this purging drama -- and even to survive it -- while continuing to exercise our faith and will that a brighter tomorrow is truly ours.
