Iranians are protesting an illegitimate oppressive government by demonstrations against said government, while NFL players are protesting police inequality by disrespecting our nations symbol and those who died for it. Iranians are not getting paid millions while they protest, while NFL players are. The livelihood of those Iranians is on the line, while NFL players have nothing to lose. Another comparison of people protesting a despotic regime versus spoiled millionaires "protesting" who knows what now. most don't even know. They think they are somehow standing up for blackness and against whiteness ad have forgotten that it began with protests of police brutality against black people. The comparison demeans the protestors in Iran who face death with their involvement in protesting rather than the "dangers" experienced by the NFL players.
