The problem is that this is stupid one-ups-man-ship between men with nuclear weapons being the focus. The problem is Trump has stupidly removed us from the position of being considered upright, fair and just to one of distrust, opinion and stupidity. We no longer can claim we have the right to dictate our will upon other nations. Trump has proven that a deal with the US means nothing, just like his word means nothing.

There is nothing we can say anymore that will have any weight in persuading N. Korea to give up its aspirations for becoming a nuclear power. Indeed we will now probably see many more smaller nations choose to pursue the same.

I agree that n. Korea will "probably" not start a nuclear war because their goal was to be treated as an equal on the world stage. And with Trump's insane bullying upon them they soon will be as saner countries realize N. Korea's nuclear ability is no longer a possibility but a reality. Why force N. Korea to "prove" itself by using them? The sanctions will be dropped, N. Korea won this round.

BUT N. Korea isn't the problem, Trump is! Only a really stupid fool would refuse to see that Trump is actually itching to prove "his" strength. He is a typical coward and wants to prove how tough he is. I thing it is safe to say that war is probably inevitable, the only question remaining is with who?

Trump is immoral, dishonest, egotistical, godless, pitiless (he has no empathy whatsoever), insane, ignorant, a bully, hateful, racist, bigoted, opinionated, unreasonable, and desperately wants to be recognized. This creates a situation in which the unthinkable is just as likely as not. Trump is impulsive and doesn't think; that's the problem in a nut shell.
