In a half hour interview with the New York Times Trump told 24 easily verifiable lies. What is wrong with this clown that he lies for the sake of lying even when he has nothing to gain by doing so. Do his supporters allow their children and grandchildren to tell lie after lie without being held accountable? Why do they accept such dishonesty from Trump?

When I read articles like the one cited I'm conflicted. I don't know whether to admire his ability to lie (for simplicity sake let's call a mistake of half truth a lie) or be frightened and apalled by his ignorance.

I'm stunned and disappointed at your claims since I did not detect many "lies" at all. Differences of opinion and in the interpretation of "facts", perhaps, but not purposeful distortions of the truth or invention of "facts". What you label as a "lie" could only be so so if you knew the "absolute truth", which you do not. You should be careful about throwing stones in glasshouses. On the other hand, I did detect many distortions in the analyses of President Trump's remarks in terms of the facts as I know them. It is remarkable how previous claims by President Trump that were labeled "lies" by the media are turning out to be uncannily accurate. Hold your breath, because I believe that a lot more is to come down the pike.

I suppose if one child insists the world is flat and another says it is a sphere it could be called a difference of opinion. If two educated adults have a similar disagreement the former is a liar, an idiot or both. Your pumpkinfurher is clearly a serial liar or an idiot. Trump is obviously entitled to his opinion. What he is not entitled to is denial of truth and fact, that is simply lying.

So, if I insist that your sexual proclivities are questionable, would you be in denial of truth, and fact?
Things have been reported regarding this ya know.

The point is that even someone as arrogant as you appear to be does not know the truth. If you think that you do go and make a fortune.

You should be more worried about your own. You misspelled appalled. If you are going to insult someone's intelligence, you should make sure your own intellectual ducks are all in a row.

I may get into more trouble if I continue this line of conversation.

A president is to maintain a fiduciary relationship with himself and the country he has sworn to serve and protect, I don't see how a pathological liar can serve that position, yet it is still going on. As shown, he lies whenever he opens his mouth. He became this way I imagine due to having no consequences for lying as a spoiled child. As other narcissists, he is devoid of many human emotions and having an understanding and real empathy for others, he is simply incapable. Aside from being a prolific liar he is also absent any moral compass. Yet he is now our president, but respect is earned and that is something he will never get by the majority of the American people.
