Why did they apologize? (This one is real easy)
They got caught!
Do you think apologies were going to be forthcoming without the tape or picture? (esp. Franken's case. He saw her after incident)

SwetLou, Al Franklin did get caught and did apologize. Donald Trump and Judge Moore also got caught and not only didn't apologize, but doubled down on denial. Trump even went on to threaten the women he sexually abused with lawsuits. The two men are pigs!

Donald Trump did apologize, and there is no concrete proof that Moore has been caught at anything. Just a bunch of sketchy he said/ she said with extremely questionable timing.

Thanks for responding Saltwind...must correct you on Donald Trump part of your response.
He did apologize for his crude language concerning the Hollywood Access Tape.
The point of my posting was that the apologies would never have been made had either
person not been caught.

Archie...you are definitely correct, Donald Trump did apologize for language on tape.
In Al Franken's case he could have apologized sooner...but didn't.
