I suspect the term 'pilgarlic' was not unknown to you, oh mighty vocabulary Visigoth.

I like to learn at least one new word a day.

Verily I say unto thee, the Visigoth doth hold specialty in ye obscure usages withal.

I'm getting into trouble because you quoted me, it's on page 2 , if you're interested and now I've lost my flair, so let me quote from Ned Kelly : Australian Son, by Max Brown p.45.
"It was said that when Ned was told this mother was sentenced to Pentridge, he swore he would take vengeance that would make his name ring down the generations.
This is no doubt near the truth, for shortly afterwards he wrote:" end quote.
Your going to be sorry I done it, none of this would have happened but for yo.
I'm getting into trouble because you quoted me, it... (show quote)

As I recall, Ned Kelly was a criminal.

I'll lay you 10-1 people on this board have no idea who Irwin Corey is.

BTW & FYI, 'pilgarlic' was a new word for me, so I looked it up:

Definition of 'pilgarlic' in English by Oxford ...en.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/pilgarlic

Definition of pilgarlic - Originally: a bald head; a bald-headed person. In later use also: a pitiable, lowly, or foolish person; a shabby or unkempt person.

And here I thought it was some Saxon King of England I might have somehow missed in my course on English History.

Their loss, Mr. Shako. If you're my age (68) and haven't seen or heard of Irwin Corey, Google him and enjoy his gobbledygook/gibberish.

He copied Bob Hope, who said " it's all about timing" and Bob's was off and Corey put it even further off.

I only use Ned to threaten people, probably won't work as good on Americans, but he was inspired by the Eureka Stockade that became the movement for Federation and the Australian Constitution, which doesn't mean much because the Bill of Rights is the Police Law Courts never in one place always bouncing, Ned and the Stockade were born in the same decade. He did however come back when his horse was under him to put on beaten up plough blades and stand there firing till he was out of ammo and couldn't stand up because he was shot in the legs.

One of my sister's favorite jokes: "Ask me what is the greatest trait of good humor. Go ahead, ask me?" "Okay, what is the grea--" "Timing!"

rumitoid, I wouldn't go that far. I think the Donald is just a narcissistic president that thinks that the world revolves around him. It's all about the Donald. He is unfit to be President of the US, but I don't believe that he is involved in a conscious effort to undermine the constitution., although it sometimes seems that way.

Directly, maybe not, but look at his nominations for the Cabinet: he is steadily dismantling our nation. Ah, but then there is the problem of disgracing this country. Bonding with authoritarian leaders over allies. Tweeting like a petulant and mean-spirited 12 year old with acne and low self-esteem.

No Trump is taking us back to a constitutional government.I know that hurts you beggars but it is what the people want and crave. And when you say something about the courts with all that human debris that Obama put on the courts we are still struggling to come back.

Trump is taking us back to a constitutional government? And the Republicans are looking to convene a Constitutional Convention to change the Constitution they claim to revere? Hmmmm.... What about our countries ideals? Can you name how tRump has advanced those ideals? Like, the Beacon of Liberty we were meant to be: “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.”

Embarrassment doesn't exist in my fauna calcus because I only get stung by bees, that's how it all started you know it wasn't the birds so much so like it is now, the bees were before birds when we came out of the rapture in the darkness of the deep sea, I was a surfer for many years trying to go back as a sea cabbage, I always wanted to be a cabbage even on dry land only so that I could be robbed of my pollen by a bird that stings like a bee, it feels much better when the numbness vanishes the embarrassment isn't anywhere to be seen not by the victim at least.

Well said, and I agree the tRump is a jerk.
