I would suggest 100% voter turnout. I am not sure that would make too many people optimistic, though.

The Republicans Don't understand the game or the opposition and are being outplayed very badly because of this.... Let me use a chess analogy. In chess a top player is a Grand master and will beat any normal player 100% of the time no matter the situation he is put in. Currently the Democrats have a grand master planning their game and I'll be kind and say Republicans are a normal player ( but I truly believe they don't know their in a chess match against a Grand Master)A grand master has access to enormous amounts of data ( thousands of previous game situations and winning responses ).
So Republicans need to learn the game and who they are up against and find a grand master who has same data and can counter to win the game.
Here’s an example of not knowing a counter move ---- Romney says 47% of people won’t vote for him because they are getting free stuff ….. The republicans did not have a counter move and they could have turned this into an advantage and gotten some mileage of it simply saying Hey 47% don’t kill the goose that is laying the golden egg for you. Message that simple concept and you can pick up the few % points to turn defeat into victory now multiply the counter moves by opportunities presented that’s only defense imagine if Republican could actually go on Offense ( Yes it’s allowed for us also).
Imagine we could take “Yes we can to a new Level”

A better Idea is to vote them ALL out, and start over. Making sure that the new congress understands that they WILL be held accountable. That all their actions, or lack thereof, will be scrutinized by their constituents.

We have allowed our politicians to get used to a "hands off" style of management. That is a ridiculous way to run a business OR a Republic. When your employees become insolent, you get rid of them. There are far too many, much more patriotic, people out there who will do the job.

Wow. Simplistic. Tear it down and rebuild it. It hasn't worked but for the rich since the beginning. Put a poor man with leadership that can balance a check book and who's neibors think good of him in offices of our senate
