It certainly does! He must go after clinton, or get out!

Well, since he said he's not going after Hillary do you want to be the one to tell him he has to get out?

I read he's at least open to the idea..https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/sessions-considering-second-special-counsel-to-investigate-republican-concerns-letter-shows/2017/11/13/bc92ef3c-c8d2-11e7-b0cf-7689a9f2d84e_story.html?utm_term=.cbdd70699bb6

But all in all, he is not what I WAS HOPING FOR. I wish he would resign and do as I saw suggested yesterday - refill the Senate seat he vacated.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions seemed to throw some cold water Tuesday on Republicans clamoring for the Department of Justice to appoint a special counsel to investigate former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) pressed Sessions on why it had taken the Justice Department months to hint, as it did Monday, at the prospect of considering a special counsel to probe years-old matters connected to Clinton.

Jordan said he thought evidence unearthed in the past year about how the FBI decided against charging Clinton over her handling of classified information at the State Department appeared to warrant a special counsel, and he also raised questions about the FBI's links to a disputed dossier of information about Donald Trump's alleged Russia ties.

"'Looks like' is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel," Sessions responded.

A Department of Justice spokesman said Sessions was not taking sides on GOP lawmakers' monthslong call for a special counsel to investigate Clinton. "The attorney general was clarifying the legal basis for appointing special counsel — not passing judgment on whether it applied in any specific investigation," spokesman Ian Prior said.

And Sessions, too, later clarified his comments. "I did not mean to suggest I was taking a side one way or the other on that subject," he said.

Still, the attorney general's comments on the matter are significant because they won't be heard only by lawmakers. Trump has badgered Sessions and the Department of Justice to launch further probes of Clinton, his rival in the 2016 election, and has lamented that DOJ has historically been independent of the president.

Trump was a big disappointment to a lot of outsiders, and it does affect our way of life, not as much as it did before but even so if the US was able to come to terms with its Balance of Trade deficits we'd all be able to breathe more easily, the swamp is I think a legacy of Carter and Reagan the D.& R's working together, which one was the man is anybodys guess, I take a double guess there, and say that they both were boys with a Cape Walk mentality. Trump was a tonic for us anti-free traders but failed himself badly by not having a deep enough understanding of what the game was, let alone knowing how to play it, but still better than Obama who was the little sister of the Dynamic Duo.

We haven't weakened at all, .."Lock all of them up"....and some should be on death row...yes some should be spending the rest of their days and money on fruitless appeals...and that way they could finally experience true Justice for the first time in their lives..

Would you want him to stay if it were a Rep who did what Hillary did ?

Of course you would be on the band wagon to make him go if that was the case .

There are two standards according to liberals

One for Demo's and a stricter one for Rep's

Thanks for your honesty and frankness, yes Trump underestimated the business of politics, that is so, and with that assessment we have to support our fighter even more, I do have a suspicion that if he started getting his way, the people's way,...he might be assassinated...

It has everything to do with it! If your part of the mix, in a mud pie, you certainly would refrain from exposing yourself. It's most evident the entirety of Washington has some sort of skeletons in the closet they wish not to be exposed.

A special counsel of investigators WOULD open everyones closet. Those who have forgotten what's there might be exposed if that part of the investigation would be relevant to what they're looking for. The investigators have Carte Blanche, once initiated.

Sessions, much like Comey, did a tap dance for congress, much to their displeasure. Sessions sure has left questions of, why?

I would say gut it open, let's start flushing the swamp, start the process of healing and let the splinters fall where they may.

RT welcome aboard. " Trump was a tonic for us anti-free traders but failed himself badly by not having a deep enough understanding of what the game was, let alone knowing how to play it "

That assessment is correct, then add to the meld he brought in, Obamas hold overs. What a combination to ignite a firestorm. Uncontrolled breaches, leaks everywhere. It's no wonder the left and right are quaking in their boots.

The liberals trying to cover it all up, the conservatives are passionately trying to open the the festering boil, to cleanse it. [ drain the swamp ]

Your too kind lindajoy, I am a practicing Muslim now I converted a few years back fasting is beyond me as yet, but I'll prey to Allah for your friendship to carry me through I need all the help I can get.
I have made it where I am, I'm 67 years old and on a great pension my son is in the Navy and presently at sea following a great tradition.
I love being a gardener and have got lots of gardens, all I need is the girl of my dreams (Kira), she's a bit younger than me but hay, I've suffered a lot by looking young I wasn't allowed into the pubs without showing ID till I was 35, but now I'm a Muslim I don't have to waste my money, before Kira took an interest in me I loved only a wild red-belly black snake, but he or she died recently, thanks for your help, I feel inquisitive about your situation but am too shy to ask.
