You needed a victory bad didn't you Goober.
Attendance is down year to year. Nice try
NFL may be getting the message. This is a quote from NYT "The NFL Players Association had asked all players to observe a two-minute moment of silence before games to honor veterans.
Even players who have been protesting most of the season stood for the anthem this week, including the Seahawks’ Michael Bennett, who stood before Thursday night’s game. Titans receiver Rishard Matthews walked onto the field holding hands with soldiers and stood with teammates for the anthem for the first time since President Trump criticized players for protesting."

NFL is getting the message. They are noticing a dip in revenue. Personally all this sudden love for the military insulted my intelligence. It’s BS. just observe these clowns in everyday life. Disgusting. I recently had a discussion with an X-NFL safety. He informed me the protest wasn’t about the flag or military. It’s about the police and supporting Kaperdick. I told him I know plenty of cops who put their lives on the line everyday and I would never support a group who would call the very people they protest when their life is in danger. Also I pointed out percentage wise the NFL has way more felons then the police departments. I know him to be a great guy and asked him if he deserved to be protested because there are NFL players who have been convicted of serious crimes? He got my point.
Point very well made. I bet if we did some research, we would find about half the players are criminals.
Anyway, I support our police. They have a hard job and they do put themselves at risk for all of us,
even those who protest or even ambush them. Thank you for the reminder!

My biggest problem with the NFL protest of police is it started with kaperdick, a washed up QB who didn’t even vote last election. He wore socks with pigs on them dressed as police. The basis for his outrage; hands up, don’t shoot. The made up Michael Brown story. So this idiot’s outrage is based on a lie. On the other hand he is building one hell of a Democrat politician resume

I boycotted the NFL today but it was because KC had their bye day today. I will be back watching them next week, but only their game.
here is a great commentary by a combat veteran regarding the pissing and moaning about the men who respectfully kneel during the anthem to bring the brutalizations of black men by some police agencies to light.
As a vet, I don’t feel “disrespected”.
I swore to defend all rights. Especially the unpopular ones that most people disagree with. Those ones need protected the most.
What does make me feel disrespected is when you drag MY service into YOUR argument and get offended on MY behalf.
Veterans are tired of being brought out like dancing poodles for the GOP and conservatives of this nation to further their own selfish, backwards, and archaic ideas.
That’s disrespectful to us.
We are living, breathing people with our own thoughts and ideologies.
We don’t belong to your team. We don’t belong to any team.
We swore to uphold the Constitution. Part of that Constitution is these players doing exactly what they are allowed to do – peacefully protest.
Showing 100% reverence to a nation or symbol of the nation is NOT patriotism, it’s nationalism.
And history has shown that nationalism is a very dangerous idea.

Unlike you, I am a vet, and I feel disrespected. I would feel even more so if I were a cop. If another veteran or a cop wishes to kneel for the anthem, then have at it; you've earned the right whether I like it or not. The same does not apply to overpaid, brainless morons who would either be in prison or on welfare if it weren't for football.
I just shut off my NFL. Package on vets. Day so don't think it's not having a effect it is, attendance is down and I don't care to watch it anymore!

So is protesting the
"Constitution of Independence." That's what one of these intellectual Lilliputians claimed he was doing.
Why do you say "right wing boycott"? A lot of veterans are democrats and they also feel slighted. Ever think of that?
