I can't believe that a committee of the UN has told the Catholic Church that they should give up on teaching their teens what they do about same sex and abortion. The President may get by with that in the US but the UN with the Holy See? It seems to me that Agenda 21 is getting closer and closer. I just don't understand anything like this. Democrats and the UN????

It's about time "turn about is fair play" was used here. But then, they'll just continue to do as they please, and cover it up. That's how it works.

The Vatican is a sovereign nation and signed the treaty. So they opened themselves up to this nonsense. So much for the Vatican's cushy relationship with the left.The Church should not meddle in politics at all. Christ never did and he even paid taxes to Caesar.Driving out the money lenders was a religious act to purify the Temple. Christ was a spiritual warrior not a Marxist rebel masquerading under the banner of so-called liberation theology. Of course the whole thing is ridiculous but all false-religion will eventually be done away by the UN .This little incident demonstrates in a small way how this might happen.The devil is the god of this system of things. The Catholic church has a mission to serve the poor no matter where they live. The church believes in the fact that life is precios. The UN will not push the church into going contray to the beliefs of the church. AS a Catholic I might add the Catholic goal is to prevent Abortions by provideing alternatives Homes and hope for desparate mothers who need a way out. We need to put ouselves in the shoes of others. God will not shut the door to those who seek him.

The important part of the UN report was all about the brutal sexual abuse of children by clergy and the great lengths the church went to to cover up the crimes of horrible child molesters and shield them from prosicution in the jurisdictions where the crimes were committed.

Without a doubt the church was guilty of trying to handle sex abuse by clergy as an internal affair. Pope Benedict said this was no longer going to be a year before he resigned. The way it is now a molester in any position in the church is turned in for arrest. The church has admitted to its wrongs and is paying lawsuits. This would not have had to happen if Molesters had been turned in to the authoritys instead of being sent to South America or other out of the way places..

I think we all know why the secular media doesn't talk about this. It is, of course, their attempt to side with the UN about things like this in order to create that New World Order we hear so much about all the time.

How many Christian churches believe in abortion and support it? Maybe you know some, but I don't. Duck, here the progs come.

I am not a catholic, however, I fear this if this is true, it is only the beginning of renewed persecution of all faiths. I'm not sure about Muslims. But the U.N. is one of the worst enemies to a freedom loving nation.

When will this administration understand that we Americans do not want to live a European type lifestyle. We saved Europe in ww2. If we become like them who will protect us?
