Ok, political views aside...here's a thought: Representatives-both House and Senate-start working for the American people. We as a collective whole are fed up with your self-important sense of entitlement and obvious willingness to receive bribes in what ever form they take. This is the last chance for a lot of entrenched members: if you don't step up to the fence and mend it, if you don't tackle the hard issues, we the people plan to vote on those newcomers in your own party who are stepping up against you. If no one steps up against you, we'll vote for another party. We are tired and fed up with Congress's "business as usual" way of doing things. Forget the "good ole boy" "I've got your back" "tit for tat" "special interest first" "my state first" way you've been doing business: put America, all American citizens first and Do the right thing for "we the people" or we will be voting for the other guy or gal, Not you! And by the way, we do keep up with how you vote, if you vote, and how much time you actually spend "on the job." Maybe we didn't use to do so; however, we're watching and keeping track now!
By the way I'm registered independent, think for myself, read all sides supposed "truths," and am old enough to believe "if you don't vote, don't complain!"

These tax reforms should be about us not the senate or house. Taking away their goodies is killing them and middle income will not benefit because the Rinos refuse to give up anything.
They want the taxing on homes gone for their real estate. They refuse to do away with any giveaway that the Dems and they voted on. Kickbacks to insurance companies, planned parenthood, NBA and their own special insurance.
They are afraid the value of their homes will go down and it should. Even a shack is worth three times more in California or New York and I bet they make a killing on rental income.
No wonder they want illegal and sanctuary cities. Keep the little people in their place. More and more moving out to more affordable cities. Who would the tax deductions benefit. Definitely not the renters.
If we get the tax bill through it will be amazing but it will not be in our benefit.
