That's right, that's only what you think, there are millions of us that think a lot differently than you, and don't have to accept what you think being crammed down our throats, as Obama and the Democrats have done for the last 8 years, but now we can continue living as all Americans have been since the founding of this country, instead of what Obama, the Democrats, and people like you have forced upon us. With President Trump, it'a new day, and our free speech rights and our freedom of religion right have once again been restored to us. We we will live like our forefathers have, with our rights of choice and association, and not being forced to do what elitists say is best for us, but instead doing what we have the right to decide and choose for ourselves what is best for us, the freedoms this country guaranteed for everyone until Obama, the Democrats, and people like you took over, and decided you'd force us to do your will, because you and your kind decided that would be best for us all.

The "Declaration" is not a list of grievances, for the American colonists had sent King George many lists of grievances over a long period of time, which he simply ignored, but this was different, much different.

The first three paragraphs explained what kind of governance man expected and deserved under a caring and omnipotent GOD (Creator), whose interventions guided man in his life and relationships with other men, and how everyone should be treated, with honor and repsect for being a creation of GOD. The next twenty seven paragraphs, many being just one sentence paragraphs, explaining the reasons, grievances as you want to call them, for what they were about to declare.

The last three paragraphs explaining the American colonists actions that they were taking to right the wrongs that had been perpetrated on them by King George, and start governing themselves, so they would no longer have to suffer the wrongs that King George constantly inflicted upon them, by declaring the thirteen American colonies to now be seperate and independent from King George and Great Britain, as a newly formed nation of states that have united for their common good and common defense, a 'Delaration of Independence' for the thirteen 'United States of America', not just a list of grievances as you want it to be, but a writ of explanation, reason, and action guided by GOD, which all the 'Founding Fathers' insisted that their success was completely owed to the intervention and providence of GOD, their Creator, and the true facts of the history of the start of the United States of America.

Now you claim that "under GOD" was added to the pledge, an oath to the USA, because the American people were afraid of the "Communists"? Is that the best fantasy that you can come up with, which is so ridiculous it doesn't warrant addressing. You're simply pathetic, and you need more instruction from your indoctrinators on how to indoctrinate others, for you're proving to be pathetic at it with made up ridiculous fantasies as that. I'm old enough to have the common sense and knowledge to not to believe your BS. As far as my age, and the level at which I read, the USMC declared many years ago that it is much better than what you have proven, in your own abilities of the same, in your comments on these OPP sites.

Take your atheism and fantasies to other more guillable and weak minded people like yourself, who like you have a penchant for believing the BS that your indoctrinators have you espousing in your pathetic attempt to convert others to the ridiculous beliefs that you insanely accept. You're a waste of my time, so trot along and bother someone else, your not worth arguing with, because you deny the truth and our history. Go practice on someone elase, and quit bothering me.

They added God because it was the 50's and everyone was terrified of the godless communists. How old are you Randy? You read like you are about 16 with the comprehension level of a 9th grader. I'll give you some slack now but you have some serious catching up to do. Start with Locke. Give him a read and when you've finished I'll add to your reading list.

Yopu defintely need to learn what a "political philosopy" is because if you knew you wouldn't make statements like this.

Liberals Attack Pledge of Allegiance

Liberals have seemingly laid out a plan to completely disrupt the entire foundation of the United States. Members of the Democratic Party have attacked nearly every ideology the nation was founded on, ranging from the Declaration of Independence to statues and important monuments throughout the country. Even the statue of Christopher Columbus in New York City is the target of attacks from individuals who want the monument toppled and destroyed. However, it has now taken another turn, with liberals publicly attacking the Pledge of Allegiance.

When going through the Pledge of Allegiance, there is no bigotry within the text of the pledge. It is straight forward and to the point. Despite this, liberals are saying there are racist connotations behind the pledge and, due to this, the pledge either needs to be changed or scraped altogether.

This is just the latest push by liberals to attack the foundation of the country and alter it to fit their desires and plans. While the Pledge of Allegiance was originally written in 1887 and revised in 1892, it was adopted by Congress in 1945, following the end of the Second World War.

With very little of the Pledge of Allegiance changing over the years (the phrase “under God” was added in 1954), why are liberals suddenly having an issue with it now?

The goal is to destroy American heritage. Tucker Carlson had the head of the NAACP, from some town who wants the Star Spangled Banner gone because it's racist. There is nothing they won't try to destroy or discredit.

I wonder what he would have said if Tucker Carlson agreed and then said while we are at it we will get rid of all racists by rounding them up and shipping them to the Gobi or Sahara deserts. The first group will be all the blacks since they are the biggest racists in the country.

You are completely correct Larry, but for me personally, and nobody is required to do this unless it is solely their own decision, I prefer to spell the real, true, and only GOD in all capitals, which is the least respect that I could and want to show Him. There has been a few known names given to GOD, Jehovah being just one, but I always wanted to call Him by His true name, but didn't know what that would be, until I finally accidentally learned that in the Hebrew language, the word for "I AM' is "YAHWEH".

Larry the Legend wrote:
Just for your information, God is a proper noun in this instance and therefore is spelt with a capital 'G', as in 'God'. Using the lower case instance, as in 'god', infers reference to an object, not a being (as in 'a god', or 'the god'). I know it can be confusing, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it if you try.

Are you directing that question at me or PeterS? As far as the question is concerned, don't worry about it, that's been one of the nicest things said to me in a very long time, except by those of the oppsite sex, which sometimes they can be fickle, so let it be, I'm glad to be asked that, it makes me feel good now. I just didn't know that I wrote like a 15 year old 9th grader, for that would certainly embarrass the teachers in how they graded me throughout high school?

Boy, with all your babbling, you really need serious couch time, and I don't mean a nap. Incidentally, though it obviously pains you to face this little tidbit of fact, this country was founded upon the Ten Commandments. Look it up you insipid little fascist.
Yeah, PeteyS, you are always good for a laugh.

Candace, when you're replying to a comment, click on the 'Quote Reply' button, so the one you are replying to will be listed, and all will know who your comment was meant for, instead of just the 'Reply' button, that doesn't direct your comment to anyone. Just some friendly advice.

I finished turdnest up last night on a different OPP site and thread, but you apparently certain know PeterS by your description of him, and you're right about turdnest too, they both are one of a kind. I haven't noticed you on these OPP sites before Candace, but I'm glad to meet you, you seem to be my type of girl, with your descriptions of PeterS and turdnest, so have a good day, and give them a piece of your mind and make them so very envious of what you can do, and they can't, speak of the truth.

When YOU say the Pledge why don't YOU leave "under GOD" out and leave the rest of us alone? Mike
