"The Tragedy Of Modern War..."

Politicians... mighty warlords, all!
"The tragedy of modern war is that the young men die fighting each other -
instead of their real enemies back home in the capitals."
- Edward Abbey

Big, tough talk from cowards who never served but are so very eager to send YOUR child off to die for Exxon/Mobil. Of course they have their equally spineless followers, such big mouths and flag waving- "We support our troops!" while making damned sure those "troops" do not include themselves! These cowards have their heroes, too, like the oh-so-manly warlord-wannabe Ted Nugent, who, when it came his time to serve, did this:

Yeah...

Here's a real tragedy:

Let that sink in... and, according to the VA,
another 23 veterans take their own life every day.

pafret, You hit the nail right on the head. You forgot the most important draft dodger of them all, Donald Trump, who received five draft deferments rather than serve in Vietnam.

I think that there is more to it that just being a coward, we fight for what is right, is it right not to fight, how could anyone not, moreover fighting is the dedication to getting ahead then once ahead fighting others on the way up, I figured that fighting is the stuff of Empires that turn from good to bad because good can only be up and coming, so I recommend only fighting for yourself.
