Thanks Ghost, but you probably already know that it is nothing but historical fact that most of us lived through, and those who stay well informed already knew of. You mean those of you who are so gullible you were fooled by affective propaganda just like so many suckers. Not bragging but I never bought that WMD crap for a minute and war is a serious business people get hurt. As it turned out about a million Iraqis lost their lives and no telling how many injures and nearly 40 thousand American boys killed or injured and that doesn't count those with PSTD's I'm not a young Liberal I'm and old wise liberal. It made me sick to my stomach to see Darth Cheney on Meet The Press saying "there is no doubt that Saddam Hussein has Chemical biological and nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them in 45 minutes. What a crock and the stupido's believed it because they wanted to believe it.

Naturally, the common people don't want war ... but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.

Everyone has to save face! Reagan had to deal with Iran because of Carter. What goes around, comes around, because everything depends on everything else (I put it in words you liberals may understand). It's not a perfect world yet the liberals are intent on creating utopia, which is an impossibility. Even the socialists and communists are still grappling with that conundrum. Obama, the Manchurian candidate couldn't see the forest for the trees thanks to his socialist upbringing. We have watched socialism gain strength in the last 25 years since the USSR collapsed. Fortunately, Jimmy Carter lived long enough to see his mantle for Dumbest President passed on to Obama. As bad as Bush and Cheney were, Obama dropped the ball on the situation he inherited and made the M.E worse. Now Trump is left with the worse mess we have had since WWII, and the worst Congress from both parties. They can't agree on selecting a dogcatcher. It's the liberals that have torn this country apart by trying to demolish the Constitutional principles that created the greatest country on earth. When Conservative finally decide to stand up against them, liberals scream fascist and use every Alinsky strategy to fight back because they won't and can't admit they are wrong.

I know all about the petro dollar but that had nothing to do with WMD's that was a subterfuge. I am not clueless I am an amateur historian who has studied history of the Universe to the Biological and geographical history of the earth. Political and economic history of Europe and the united states and the rise of humans from australopithecines to homo sapiens and the rise of civilization around 8,000-10,000 years ago. The assassination of JFK in 1963 was a coup detah when we lost our democracy and crossed the Rubicon to Empire and the Military industrial complex and invasion and occupation of Iraq was a policy coup

Absolutely false . The gas he use he mostly make from chemicals be bought from GERMAN sources. The chemicals which may have been bought from the USA and NOT THE GOVERNMENT, were basic commercial insecticides. These were never weaponize but the German sourced chemicals were used to kill.

I've come to the conclusion that for the last 8 years the Republicans have accomplished nothing of any importance for the American people that put them in majority control of the US Congress, and now the White House too, as all their promises have gone unfulfilled. I myself am tired of it, and want the RINOs out of office, just as much as I do the Democrats.

If it wasn't for President Trump and all his EOs, that have been doing what the Republicans in the US Congress had promised that they would do, but instead have capitulated to every Democratic demand, as they are still doing today. I guess that they were too stupid to learn when Obama explained to them when the Democrats had won majorities in the 'US Congress', that "ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES", which it appears only happens when the Democrats win the elections.

We have had two rotten parties for decades. A partnership with The Federal Reserve Banking Cabal. Both parties fighting for the spoils.
Trump beat them both.

In 1988, during the waning days of Iraq’s war with Iran, the United States learned through satellite imagery that Iran was about to gain a major strategic advantage by exploiting a hole in Iraqi defenses. U.S. intelligence officials conveyed the location of the Iranian troops to Iraq, fully aware that Hussein’s military would attack with chemical weapons, including sarin, a lethal nerve agent. The intelligence included imagery and maps about Iranian troop movements, as well as the locations of Iranian logistics facilities and details about Iranian air defenses. The Iraqis used mustard gas and sarin prior to four major offensives in early 1988 that relied on U.S. satellite imagery, maps, and other intelligence. These attacks helped to tilt the war in Iraq’s favor and bring Iran to the negotiating table, and they ensured that the Reagan administration’s long-standing policy of securing an Iraqi victory would succeed. But they were also the last in a series of chemical strikes stretching back several years that the Reagan administration knew about and didn’t disclose.

U.S. officials have long denied acquiescing to Iraqi chemical attacks, insisting that Hussein’s government never announced he was going to use the weapons. But retired Air Force Col. Rick Francona, who was a military attaché in Baghdad during the 1988 strikes, paints a different picture.
"The Iraqis never told us that they intended to use nerve gas. They didn’t have to. We already knew," he told Foreign Policy.
According to recently declassified CIA documents and interviews with former intelligence officials like Francona, the U.S. had firm evidence of Iraqi chemical attacks beginning in 1983. At the time, Iran was publicly alleging that illegal chemical attacks were carried out on its forces, and was building a case to present to the United Nations. But it lacked the evidence implicating Iraq, much of which was contained in top secret reports and memoranda sent to the most senior intelligence officials in the U.S. government.

It has been previously reported that the United States provided tactical intelligence to Iraq at the same time that officials suspected Hussein would use chemical weapons. But the CIA documents, which sat almost entirely unnoticed in a trove of declassified material at the National Archives in College Park, Md., combined with exclusive interviews with former intelligence officials, reveal new details about the depth of the United States’ knowledge of how and when Iraq employed the deadly agents. They show that senior U.S. officials were being regularly informed about the scale of the nerve gas attacks. They are tantamount to an official American admission of complicity in some of the most gruesome chemical weapons attacks ever launched.

More of your BS lies and propaganda.

Everything Obama said about Obamacare were outright boldfaced known lies, according to professor Jonathon Gruber, one of the main architects of the 'Affordable Care Act' (ACA), who admitted that Obama and the Democrats were, "Lying to the "stupid" (his description) American public".

The liberal biased mainstream media also reported after the fact, that there were e-mails and memos circulating among all the Democrats in Washington DC in August of 2009, warning them not to keep repeating Obama's promises of, "You can keep your healthcare policy if you liked it, you can keep your doctors that you like and trust, the ACA (Obamacare) will reduce your healthcare costs by $2,500.00 a year for a family of four, and Obamacare was "Funded Neutral", because they were all lies and it may come back and bite them on the ass after Obamcare goes into affect.

But Obama and all the Democrats kept on telling the American people what they were told were lies by the architects of the ACA, which proves they were deliberately lying to the American people in order to get a vey flawed healthcare law passed, as we found out after we were fianally allowed to read it only after it was voted into law.

The Democrats, who also weren't allowed to read it, voted it into law, while all the Republicans warned the Democratically controlled US House and US Senate that they would not vote for any bill that they were not allowed to read, as every single Democrat voted for the terribly flawed healthcare law (ACA), and every single Republican voted against the very flawed healthcare law (Obamacare).

Now the American people, or the federal government, can no longer afford to pay for Obamacare, let alone afford to use it with the tremendously high copays and deductibles.

Just more proof of your BS "LIES", as even Dr. Emanuel (Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel's brother), another main ACA original architect, also agreed that they were knowingly lying when promising the aforementioned.

But now you're trying to justify all of Obama's knowingly boldfaced lies that he told to the American people, because now you claim that President Trump is copying Obama and also telling lies to the American people. Grow up, these people know better than to accept your biased BS lies to massage all your deep innate "HATRED" of President Trump, for defeating your criminal candidate in the election for President, because many millions of Democrats in historical Democratic electorial states voted for the better person to be our President.

Did you graduate high school? Spelling and punctuation are not your strong points. And your view of Obama is really screwed up. You try your best to back him now because you screwed up and voted for him. Twice! It just shows how ignorant you are. Keep embarrassing yourself on a public forum. It's entertaining.

What is the half you disagree with. The Democratic had been the reform party ever since the founding of the populist party in 1892 They merged with the
Democratic party in the 1896 election and The Democratic party became the reform party and the party of the working man and the new deal until the rise of the modern conservative movement in the early 1970's and a tsunami of cash began pouring into out politics The Democratic began trying to did associate the party with the new deal legacy and get more business friendly to get in on the cash. Trump spoke a populist message to these people and by 88,000 across four rust belt states, it put him in the White House had the Democrats had the balls to nominate Bernie Sanders Trump would have lost bigly
