I've Had Vintage Wines Twice
A Mosel And A Burgundy
Smooth As A Russel Stover Candy
All New Wine Tastes Exactly The Same
No Matter The Label, Origin, Type
7/11 Or High Dollar Supplier
You Go To A Fancy Resteraunt
And Order A Glass Of House Wine
You're Drinking Box Wine
I Know That For A FACT Too...
Where Are The 70yr California Wines ?? Ports ??
High Dollar Vintages Are Only From Europe
And Probably For Damned Good Reason
California Wines Get Medals And Awards Because They Are Judging New Wines
Show Me Where They Judge Franzia At 50yrs
Don't American Wines Get Better With Age ??
If You Like It Better Than Beer Fine
But Don't Think It's An Exhibition Of Your Inherent Class

Thanks for the laugh!
Good reading, New Testament, Timothy, book 1, chapter 5, verse 23.
" Drink no longer water, but drink a little wine for thy stomach's sake and oft infirmities."
I'll drink to that.
Wine Does Have Health Attributes
Unlike Camel Urine

Quote from someone:
No wine no wisdom.
Too much wine same result.
I am an old Blues fan of which it was custom to start a blues concert with a little wine.

I love wine but I don't buy it because I can't drink just one glass, it raises my blood sugar and nothing gives me a worse hangover than to get drunk on wine.

You can drink an Old Country wine as much as you like. BUT American wines will always give you a hangover. I asked a wine dealer and he suggested that before drinking an American wine, take an anti-histamine. This is because American wineries use histamines to "age" their wines. This is because American wines are "aged?" in steel drums rather than the wooden barrels used in Europe where the wine is aged naturally. Have you noticed that there are no dated American wines?

Thanks, that's interesting. I really don't know anything about wine except how to open it. I have been stuck without a cork screw and had to drive the cork into the bottle to get to the wine.

That's the fun part.
Next time just break off the neck, no cork.

I Have Indeed Noticed This
So I Wondered How California Wines Get All These Awards ??
I Haven't Looked Into It
But I Think That These Are New Wine Competitions
All New Wines Taste Alike To Me
Whether It Was A 2yr Old From Europe, Or Alamden From 7/11
Vintage Wines Ultimately Age In The Glass Bottle, Btw...
With The Internet,
Maybe You Can Find Vintages That Can Be Expected To Get Better Over Time
Buy A Case Of That, And Forget About It
A '76 Burgundy Was $8-9 A Bottle In '78
Ten Years Later, $60
15yrs Later, Over $75
It'll Be A Forty Year Old Wine Now
