Our president does a pretty fair job of making a fool of himself--without any outside help.

She may dislike Trump as President, but Peggy Noonan is still a highly respected writer from the Reagan administration. She remains a strong life-long conservative. And, although I didn't vote for Trump or Clinton...had Hillary won, journalistic criticisms of her would have been as abundantly available for me as with President Trump. In fact, if one had taken note, I posted at least as many negative threads concerning her during their campaigns.

Hardly, Pappa. Being born in 1949, I'm much more 'old school' than you professed to be.

And, I can safely state that the writer of the piece, Peggy Noonan, is definitely 'old school.' She was Ronald Reagan's primary speechwriter for quite some time.

Yes Kemmer, Bush got elected twice and we endured one war for oil, and a second one for drugs. On a like note we elected JFK and got Lyndon Johnson and the Vietnam war which, according to the party line, was to stop the spread of communism. All in all Vietnam was a sham, a disgrace, and changed the face of warfare. No longer were the battle lines defined, no longer could you find the enemy and kill him, but he could find you! 51,000 plus dead service men and countless lives ruined!
