The liberal Democrats have failed the children most in need. They take care of themselves and put money into their retirement and Unions. The President and Mrs. Devos are actually trying to help those most in need by charter schools and school choice for parents. The Unions are screaming about this because it takes away money from them for their entitlements. They could care less about the children.

Hey proud republican, that librarian who insulted Melania is more than just a librarian. She's a hard-core, knee jerk, die hard lefty. Which, doncha know, makes her superior to her more centrist fellow human beings. Because she "cares".
In fact, Dr. Seuss, gave us some wonderful insight into this type of personality with his great work, "The Star-Bellied Sneetches", and their interaction with the plain-bellied sneetches, who didn't have stars on their bellies.

..."the stars weren't so big, they were really quite small,
you'd think such a thing wouldn't matter at all.

But because they had stars, all the star-bellied sneetches,
would brag we're the best kind of sneetches on beaches.

With their snoots in the air they'd sniff and they'd snort,
We'll have nothing to do with the plain-bellied sort."

My wife just couldn't understand how "The Cat in the Hat" and other Dr. Suess books were at all racist. I have read all the Dr. Suess books to my boys and never did find anything at all racist.

You go back to a very long time ago for your stories and pictures where the author was selling books but avoid the fact that Dr. Suess wasn't at all racist. Oh well when you lefties throw in the race card anything satisfies you. Right?

miss soeiro ......

Oh the places you’ll go—like the State of Confusion--
(along with those crying “Russian collusion”)

'Cuz rather than accept FLOTUS' gifts with grace
…. then pass them on to a more needy place,

You made a foolish and unwise decision
…. to expose your own hate … and create more division!

But in haste to condemn her gracious act
… you forgot your old pics dressed as Cat in the Hat!!

And, Oh No, to add to your self-imposed trouble
…. missed Dr. Seuss readings by the former first couple!!

Oh, how the Obamas loved Green Eggs and Ham
….. One Fish, Two Fish and Sam, I am!

Seems to you all are racists--even Horton’s Who!
…. So it’s off to the State of Confusion for you,

With the rest of the haters, the clowns and the fools,
….. who’ve exposed themselves as leftist tools ...

Where maybe you’ll learn about proper decorum
…… and won’t find yourself mocked in a public forum ….

The librarian, Liz Phipps Soeiro, received the books from a private donor. The appropriate response would have been to say, 'thank you.'

She could have remained silent. appropriated the books to other school libraries.

Since the donation was from the 1st Lady, it could be considered a collector's item. It could have been displayed with the Obama, Bush, and Clinton's contributions.

Ms Soeiro apparently needed attention; she acted in an overly dramatic fashion.

Perhaps, some of the school's funding should be limited and diverted to the more deprived schools. Federal and State officials should investigate their fiduciary policies and aptly distribute the monies in a more pragmatic way.

Exactly! Especially when you consider that many of Dr. Seuss's stories are mainly about the bringing his various characters together. Not exactly a virtue or characteristic you'll find in abundance in many racists.

But knee-jerk libs like Keyvn think that instead of presenting persuasive arguments they can convince fence straddlers that Dr. Suess's books are racists completely ignoring that the real body of the work, for which he's so well known and loved, is about bringing his various characters together with clever, whimsical, inspirational, and catchy rhymes. There's not a hint of racism anywhere in those books.

There's a new sheriff in town and he's thrown down the gauntlet on political correctness. Either justify your political correctness with rational, persuasive argument, or step aside and get out of the way. No more progressive passes. Buzzwords don't cut it anymore. The Obama era is over.

I see Berkeley is realizing the high cost that it takes to mollycoddle those spoiled brats and will now get tough on those thugs. Or ask Colin Kaepernick, how his cheap, disrespectful, stunt of taking a knee is working out for him. Last I heard, nobody's doing it anymore because it's putting a big hurt on the bottom line. I even hear that the Pittsburg Steelers, whose only team member, former Army veteran, Antonio Villanueva, was the only one to show proper respect during the recent national anthem, have just announced that henceforth the entire team will all show proper respect for the flag.

Light is an excellent disinfectant. Colin started it. But Trump aimed the spotlight on it! Presto! Cured! The previous administration would have encouraged it and it would have festered!

So here's hoping that, just like Colin, that lefty, misguided librarian gets her just desserts for daring to tangle with the FLOTUS in such a disrespectful way.

Hey Colin how does it feel knowing there are no more multi million dollar paydays?

That's the problem, IT WAS MICHELLE OBAMA, and of course when she read Dr. Seuss no one had a single word of criticism. This fascist librarian didn't care about Seuss, her hatred for the Trumps is what mattered to her. And This same librarian was going to invite BLM members to speak to grade school children, she already propagandized Columbus Day and was and no doubt still is indoctrinating children in left wing BS as fast as she can. She should be fired

mw, he's an atheist, he doesn't understand those quotes. Actually that is found in John 8:2-11 King James
