I think many of the far left feel the rope tightening around their necks. The good feelings of being a useful idiot seem to be fading among those who have read their history and now know what happens to their type.

Although I do not find the actions occurring amusing, it is providing me with wonderful mirth to watch the reactions from our left hand side.

Manchuria Candidate, Islamic Agenda, dubious Birth Certificate, unknown Student at Columbia University, Lies on Lybia, anti-Constitutional activity, undermining our Military Leadership. This isn't some banana Dictatorship, this is Our Republic under siege from a run amuck President and promoted by his Administration.

Quid Pro Quo, The Dutchman, Yankee Clipper, & AuntiE: Says the author of the piece:

"Author's Note:
In response to those responding to this piece by noting, But Obama's better in other areas, this piece is only about the national security arena. Yes, on social policies, such as marriage equality and immigration, as well as some economic policies, the distinction between Obama and the GOP has been made clear (which is why I voted for Obama in 2012, despite my deep opposition to his drone program, war on whistleblowers and increased surveillance).

However, that distinction does not in any way mitigate the seriousness of what has been transpiring, nor invalidate the fact that Obama has continued or expanded the Bush administration's Orwellian reach into our private lives in the name of "safety." " (Emphasis added)

Not that I agree. The Bush administration initiated a program far less intrusive than Obama's Orwellian reach , as an interim needed response to 9/11 pursuant to the president's duty to protect Americans against external initiated attacks. Obama has expanded the program to become a method of identifying his enemies through monitoring every e-mail and phone call in the United States. Totally different process. This is Nixon's hand written enemies list on steroids. A gargantuan program to monitor every person in the United States.

If the statement "hell on earth" is accurate, we are entering thus under this administration.

Those of us here who are a little long at the tooth, may live long enough to see this republic end. I hope I do not. It will be violent and all these malcontents pushing for socialism will possibly live to see the error of their ways as a totalitarian regime makes slaves of them. They will get what's coming to them in ways they have never imagined.

Quid Pro Quo, Yankee Clipper: With Obama's 16,000 new IRS storm troupers, even monitoring this post, we are all at risk for our liberty.

Both Bush's left a few finger prints behind on the laws surrounding national security, so they bear some of the blame.
