Make America Great Again

I know a very intelligent man who says, All politicians lie, the good ones do it convincingly

The Donald won his miraculous victory based on promises that built an agenda to make America great again. These promises basically said that he would address three areas, the economy, the wall, and taxes. How is he doing so far?

The S&P 500 has added more than two trillion in market value since Trump’s election. This is an astounding run for a bull market. Records have been broken, and broken, and then broken again.

I call this the Trump Bump.

Economy growing: check.

What about the wall?

Homeland Security has issued a waiver to certain laws, regulations and other legal requirements to ensure the expeditious construction of barriers in the vicinity of the international border near Calexico, California. The waiver was published in the Federal Register today so construction of the border wall can begin.

How can this be? I thought from hearing the media cartels story line that this would never happen.

In legislation already on the books Congress provided the Secretary of Homeland Security with a number of authorities necessary to carry out its border security mission.

Current law provides that the Secretary of Homeland Security shall take such actions as may be necessary to install additional physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the United States border to deter illegal crossings in areas of high illegal entry into the United States. In laws already in effect Congress called for the installation of additional fencing, barriers, roads, lighting, cameras, and sensors on the southwest border. In this legislation Congress granted to the Secretary of Homeland Security the authority to waive all legal requirements that the Secretary, in his sole discretion, determines necessary to ensure the expeditious construction of the barriers and roads authorized.

DHS is implementing President Trumps Executive Order 13767, Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements, enforcing laws already on the books laws that have been unenforced for years and is taking steps to immediately plan, design and construct a physical wall along the southern border, using appropriate materials and technology to most effectively achieve complete operational control of the border.

In other words despite the fake news the Corporations Once Known as the Mainstream Media keep spinning, President Trump is moving forward with his promise to build the wall.

Wall underway: Check.

What about taxes?

For years I've predicted that if we would reform the bewildering tax code, personally I advocate for a flat tax of 15%, lower the corporate tax, allow the repatriation of foreign holdings, and scale back regulation our economy would take off like a rocket. The Trump administration is eliminating sixteen regulations for every new one. Throw tax reform into the mix and maybe we’re about to see if that prediction has been valid. Two trillion in growth may pale in comparison to what Americans can do if we remove the shackles forged by the anti-capitalist Progressives over the last twenty-nine years.

If we can corral enough RINOs we can pass the presidents tax reform plan.

Donald Trump promised that if we elected him together we would make America great again. Since the day of his election he has been under assault by the establishment. It's been unrelenting and according to the latest survey coverage has been 91% negative. It is become so ludicrous that if the President walked on water the headline would be, Trump cant swim! If he changed water into wine it would be, Trump encourages alcoholism! And if he raised the dead it would be, Trump attacks the funeral parlor industry!

Even the politically blind can see through this haze of bias and partisanship disguised as journalism. Even those made deaf by Progressive indoctrination disguised as education can hear that the political hacks and their media megaphone are doing a hatchet job on a man who sacrificed a life as a successful entrepreneur to work a thankless job for the benefit of his country.

Why? What could induce someone to leave a life of luxury surrounded by a loving family all working together to accomplish great things? Why would one of the most successful builders in American history leave his own plans in the hands of others to take on a job draining a swamp? Why give up the life of a super star idolized and lionized by millions to be caricatured and hated by those driven mad because they didn't get their way?

Why?

To make America great again that is why.

Remember the man who said, All politicians lie, the good ones do it convincingly. My vote went to a non-politician because I hoped a businessman might tell me the truth.

Let us dedicate ourselves to doing anything and everything we can to support the President in his goal. Contact your Senators. Call your Representative. Let them know that you want them to help not hinder the President. Let them know you want them to forget about getting themselves re-elected and instead work to Make America Great Again!

Why are so many people against the concept of making America Great Again? To come out and publicly proclaim that they will fight him tooth and nail, to protest against and chant that he is not their president, and to spend millions of dollars in tax payer money to defy his every move in a court of law, or before judges in order to stop him as he fights for all Americans. This only proves that these scum bags themselves are not even close to being Americans, yet he still fights for them.
This is truley the Greatest President we the people have ever had.

Very intellectual sound post. It was a very interesting read to bad about 50% is really not accurate.

Economy was growing over the last year of Obama and carried over into the Trump administration. Actually 76 straight months of positive job growth bringing unemployment from 10% to 4.7%. Trump has done nothing except a few EO that he recinded. That is crazy to say the least that he had anything to do with the economy during his first 6 months. But guess you have not seen the new census. It shows how Obama raised median household incomes, Lowered the Piverty rate, decreased deficit spending decreased the number of people without healthcare.

I will give you the Trump bump but what has that done for the bottom 97% of wage earners. These funds have not been invested in our economy as of today.

I understand you're bias against the MSM because you're a Trump supporter and that's okay but what bothers me the most is the MSM is just reporting on what Trump Says versus what he actually does. And when Trump is pushed on these issues he lashes out against the media. But why is Fox And Friends Trumps Media outlet he quotes those 3 clowns on a couch. But that's not fake.

Also we are still under the Obama budget. Trumps first budget does not kick in until Jan1 so to evaluate Trump and the economy we have to wait until Jan 2019.

No his rally cry was Repeal the ACA, build a wall and Mexico will pay, repeal DACA, repeal NAFTA, walk away from NATO, negotiate a better deal in TPP he's done none of the above except he did not negotiate with TPP he withdrew from $480 billion in trade and has not as of this time started any kind of bi-lateral talks on trade. TPP showed an economic gain of approximately 1.5 million jobs by 2020. China was not invovled with TPP because of strict regulations on Wages, and currency manipulation. But what gets forgotten is Obamas main priority with TPP which was classified as the (Asian Pivot) which was designed to counter China's growing influence on Trade. Even if Trump started bi-Lateral talks it would do no good.

The wall is not underway all he is doing is repairing some existing fencing which was in the Obama budget. But it's a typical Trump spin he is taking credit for something that was already done and was planned before he got in Office. And don't forget he can't just go and spend tax funds building a wall without approval from the House so that comment is very misleading. But my impression of the Mexican border wall is limited by the fact that it's among the most wasteful impractical and useless ideas ever spouted by an American President it will never get built. Also the increase in Border security under Trump that was approved under Obamas budget that was approved in Nov of 2016. Don't forget Budgets go from Nov to Nov. we cannot judge Trump until Jan 1 of 2019 then talk to me about Trump. Again Republicans don't read actual legislation everything Trump is talking about on the border was covered under the Obama comprehensive Immigration bill that was passed in the Senate with a bi-Partison vote with 68 votes they sent it to the house and the republicans blocked it from a vote.

Now unless you know something I don't but I have not seen any tax proposal from Trump except for a 1 page document that meant nothing can't imagine sending that over to the CBO office. His so called ambitious tax reform has been tabled in favor of a few tax tax cuts. So I am not sure wether you are listening to what he says versus what he is doing. What you have is a wish list. But it's a typical republican tax plan all based of GDP growth and just like under Bush 43 with his Tax plan based on growth it was paid with the deficit and blamed on Obama.

If we want this foolish deficit to go down we have to stop these massive budgets and base not speculating it on the economy growing.

Repatriation of $2 trillion I guess you did not read the Obama American jobs act matter of fact I know you didn't because Trump supporters refuse to read legislation. Under the Obama plan if passed they could bring the money back at a 12% rate not the 34% then if these corporation started to rebuild the manufacturing base with decent paying jobs he would cut that rate to 3%. So Obama had a great plan on repatriation it was incentive based not the GOP plan of okay we are going to forgive you for you're taxes on $2 trillion and hope they invest. Again the GOP typical plan of speculating that these people will invest in our economy everything the republicans do is speculation and if it doesn't happen the middle class gets stuck with the bill. How did trickle down work all that did was widen the income in equality and blow up the deficit republicans were saying it will trickle down. But an incentive based plan on repatriation I am all in.

But the regulation issue yes we probably have to many regulations I believe in smart regulation. The regulation issues do need to be address not to mention a lot of our regulation are outdated.
