At any rally where Antifa gathers, especially in black masks, they are there for trouble. They should all be blocked by Police and forced to identify themselves with valid I. D., remove their masks or be detained at least until the rally is well over. They are about as bad as bad can be, reaching the loq lqvel of the very Nazis they are protesting, Muslim terrorists and ISIS. They should be arrested for every offense to even disobeying a police officer, and booked, prosecuted and hopefully convicted, then sentenced to the limit of the law. Only then, will they start realizing that others have rights to be heard and that is a guarantee of the constitution,

Violence by protestors is reprehensible, whether from the Left or the Right. And if the police do rough up some of those foul-mouthed, violent jerks, well, they most likely asked for it by spitting, hitting, or failing to obey orders by officers, or other violent behavior. At some point, violence has to be quelled by violence, if other means have failed. This goes for Far Left and Far Right demonstrators that are out of line.
Too bad you didn't get a quote from a higher official in law enforcement itself.
