As for the U.S, sending aid to Mexico, " ...State Department spokeswoman Nicole Thompson tells Newsweek the Mexican government has yet to request any international assistance,..."

Mexico's ""assistance" consists of a fraction of what illegal Mexicans cost US taxpayers every year. Our Southern ""friend" has allowed drug cartels which cause untold damage to the United States to operate drug smuggling and wetback smuggling operations practically unimpeded. Armed Mexican troops have fired on US citizens who were on our side of the border. The Mexican government allows trainloads of Central Americans to traverse the entire length of Mexico to sneak into the US. These are not the acts of a friendly nation.
Every year for the past ten years, illegal Mexicans have cost the US between 90 and 100 BILLION dollars. This doesn't even include the damage caused by drugs flooding in through Mexico with the collusion of corrupt officials. Kevyn, how much more aid should we give them?
