he Lone Start state just won a major battle in federal court over its voter ID law which was struck down by a liberal federal judge.
Learn more about RevenueStripe...

Appealing to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, Texas asked for a stay on the lower court’s ruling arguing that its amended version of the bill would pass legal muster.

With a 2-1 vote, the 5th Circuit agreed and reinstated the law.

Liberals are squarely against voter ID regulations around the country arguing that they act as voter suppression tools against minorities.

The problem with that logic is that IDs are already required for the purchase of tobacco, lotto tickets, alcohol, military service and a handful of other commonplace transactions.

Which liberals don’t seem to have much problem with.

It’s the fact that voters must show they actually are legally registered that has them up in arms.

Why is that, pray tell?

Voter suppression is the only way any Republicans will be elected/re-elected in next year's midterms.

So you are Canadian, Morgan.
Are you worried about America going Populist?

A wrong assumption, I think every person who votes should feel that their vote counts.Until every American has an affirmative individual right to vote protected by our nation's most important document, our democracy and the Constitution itself remain incomplete - and I believe America deserves more, and if this is not in our constitution... it should be.

Apparently, we don't, it isn't our right, it is a privilege, did you read what I just wrote? As far the illegal argument, it's beyond ridiculous.

In the Constitution, Amendment 24 SAYS; "The RIGHT of citizens of the United States, to vote in any Primary or other election for President or Vice President, for Electors for President or Vice President, or for Senator or Representative in Congress, shall NOT BE DENIED OR ABRIDGED by the United States or any State by reason of failure to pay any poll tax or any other tax!!!"

And THAT came right out of the Constitution AS WORDED!!! SO I don't know where you get YOUR rights from, but I get MINE from the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES!!!

It's not true.

Look at the Constitution.

It's not surprising that the same people that applauded Obama for trashing the Constitution regarding DACA want the Constitution trashed again, this time to help illegals and dead people vote.

About covers it.. Never mind BOs admission the DACA was temporary and yes, illegal...

They accept it from him but not from President Trump... A bit hypocritical

How long is temporary and why have none of these people, not children now ever applied for citizenship?? Too much to give up in the government freebies and having to pay their own way as adults now??

Including felons?

That is another pool of (currently) non-voters thst Democrats expect huge support from if they can get them voting rights.

For everyone's vote to count you have to stop illegal voting.

Right, I didn't disagree with that, but it is not our right, it is a privilege and our patriotic duty. Obviously, 45% of the voting population no longer felt that way in our last vote, I wonder why?

It IS a privilege and a RIGHT as LONG as you are a citizen, are not a felon, and are REGISTERED to vote and can PROVE IT!!!
In the CONSTITUTION it says RIGHT TO VOTE!!! It does NOT say PRIVILEGE to vote!!!

For the record, there has been evidence of 6-8 fraudulent votes out of a billion+ votes cast since 2000. Voter fraud is a Republican invention to keep minorities, the elderly, and students from voting.

The right to keep and bear arms is also guaranteed in the Constitution, and ID is required to buy a gun per federal law. What's the difference here? Are minorities being denied their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms?

It is also REQUIRED to go into a BAR!! Are Seniors, Students, and Minorities being denied the right to go into a BAR??? Or to buy beer at the grocery store???

I gather you didn't know that Hillary spoke out in favor of, and introduced legislation to give felons the right to vote.

I think she dropped it when she figured out just how unpopular it was the American public. Naturally the mainstream media didn't report it in order to keep her poll numbers as high as they could.

We need to end the disparities in resources. We need to have same day voter registration and earlier absentee voting. We need to make it clear that we’d like to try a holiday or a weekend for voting because more people will be able to get off work and actually do it.
