Proving just how abhorrent the pro-abortion left has become, Oregon Gov. Kate Brown has signed a bill into law requiring all state insurers to provide free abortions for everyone, including illegal aliens:

The $10.2 million Reproductive Health Equity Act includes $500,000 for abortions for the estimated 22,873 women who would be eligible for the Oregon Health Plan, the state’s Medicaid program, “except for their immigration status.”

Under the first-of-its-kind law, most of which goes into effect immediately, Oregon insurers must provide 100 percent coverage for abortions without co-pays or deductibles.

Those covered by Providence Health Care, a nonprofit Catholic health care provider, and the only Oregon insurance company that does not cover abortions, will have expenses reimbursed by the state.

Unsurprisingly, members of the pro-abortion movement praised the law:

Of course, Planned Parenthood helped draw up the bill; and, in effect, the law is nothing more than a government bailout for the organization. Four Oregon Planned Parenthood facilities have shut down in recent years due to a 15 percent decrease in abortions from 2011 to 2014. Nationally, Planned Parenthood client visits have declined from 3 million to 2.4 million.

The fact that Planned Parenthood clinics are shuttering across the country due to a drop in abortions certainly calls into question the liberal talking point that Planned Parenthood provides so much more than abortions.

But Gayle Attenberry, the executive director of Oregon Right to Life, said Oregon’s new law is sure to increase the abortion rate:

“Oregon taxpayers already cover nearly 50 percent of all abortions in the state whether they like it or not,” said Ms. Atteberry. “By making abortion free, this percentage will inevitably increase. We also expect more late-term abortions, which are currently very expensive as well as risky to perform. All completely covered by either insurance companies or by the Oregon taxpayers.”

Just disgusting.

If pro-abortion advocates want to donate a portion of their paychecks to help women abort their babies, that’s their decision. But the government – state or federal – should not force pro-life taxpayers to surrender their money to fund something to which they are morally opposed. As Republican state Rep. Bill Post wrote on Facebook, “Oregon should be ashamed and embarrassed.”

If nothing else it may be a good population reducer. Those today want abortions for their own selfish reasons. Should they be forced to bear their new-born it would be likely that the offspring will have a tough time growing up considering the selfish nature of their parents.

That's bad, but it may get worse. In countries in the east, like China, where there are too many people, the law only lets a cople have 2 children. If a cople has 2 kidsalready, and the wife ets pregnant, the woman have no choice, the lawrequires her to have an abortion. I pray that we don't follw their horrible path, but it oten seems we get closer all the time.I don't want to live in a third world dictatorship, I want to live in America!~!

The people must be ignorant(don't know what's going on). Margaret Sanger. the founder of Planned Parenthood, did't pretend to be the champion of women's rights that the Left like to portray her as. She was a bigot, she said that abortion would be the way to keep niggers from taking the country over. Most abortoin clinics are in areas with mostly black residence. Coincidence? So much for the liberals pretending to be the party that is for the minority community. They use minorities to get elected. As former Democratic President LBJ once said, if you give niggers free stuff,they'll vote Democrat for generations.

Okay, here's my view on abortion:

I believe life begins at conception. As a nurse, I know that the little heart begins to beat at about 18 days after conception, and the baby continues to develop, so I just cannot justify tearing and dismembering a baby from the uterus.

Most women will tell you following an abortion that it just was not a convenient time to have a baby. Since when is it okay to take an innocent life for convenience!?!

How about taking precautions prior to having sex? How about abstaining if you're not prepared for sex? How about making grown up decisions when practicing grown up acts?

Roe vs Wade was an incredibly bad decision, and it does not preclude a woman from making a decision, she knows in her heart, is WRONG!

We are members of the "Old School" where as the "abortion" crowd is of the "New School" where for the most part anything goes with abortion at the top of the list.
