Caroline Kennedy asked or the posting to japan, which is really one of the more prestigious postings. It's a great springboard to a political career. She is a warm, honest person. But to the right fring, just bearing the kennedy name is a sin. Sick sick sick.

Look where Caroline Kennedy ends up. She, if anyone, would best know where the bodies are buried. Do you think that a New York Socialite really wants to be way way away in Japan? No. she has been demoted the way a sheriff is when he gets caught drinking in his police car. She, however, cannot put an entire sentence together without choking, so why he was afraid of her, but the rats are jumping ship and it started with Edward Snowden. Now, California, the most liberal of them all, gets hit with the highest tax rate in the country. What will it take until they see through his hope and change scam...actually it wasn't a scam. He truly is wanting the country to be a non Christian, socialistic fundamentally changed society. Live Love from the great country of Texas! chan

Hey mr. mis-named Liberty Tree-it's the tea party that is embracing Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals" It's distributed to all new Tea Party leaders and an abridged version is distributed to other lesser tea party members.

Most of the left disavowed Alinsky in the late 1970s when his methods were deemed to divisive. Anyone who has studied the man and his movement would know this. His organization was thrown out of Chicago (, more specifically, out of the Chicago Archdioses that gave him funding and a headquarters) before Barak Obama moved there.

Your are right, Moonbeam. I have said all along that Obama is not stupid or incompetent. He wants to bring America down because he hates her. He believes she has obtained all she is by exploiting others and wants her to be on the same level as any other country. That is his Marxist/Alinsky theme of life. He has great plans on how ro do it unless there are the strong who will prevent it. They had better beware because he will go after his enemies. He said once that he wanted to punish his enemies and he has done so on a small scale and wants to do so on a large scale.

The memory is quite clear-a night on the perimeter listening while two marines in the next hole were making love. Oh there were queers in the Navy during my career but once exposed they were thrown out with less than honorable discharges.
Back in the mid 60's while aboard the USS America there where a group of them flown off the ship and all were out of the Communications Department. 17 all together I think. I remember the call sign for the COD flying them off was fairy flight 66.
I'll just bet yoouse guys were pissed at those two because they didn't let you join in....

I have studied him, have his book and the TEA Party is far from him. He was Obama's Guru as a community organizer and Hillary Clinton did special studies of him. Both of them, and especially Obama, employ his techniques on a regular basis. Liberals, as a group, hvae never abandoned his core values.

So you think crazy people should have firearms? It's these crazy people-and look at the-Jard Loughner, James Holmes, the guy in Sandy Hook, the guy in Virginia Tech-who are causing all the problems.

Nobody has made any suggestions on how to week out the mentally unfit from firearms ownership-none. It's a difficult balance weighting the rights of the non-crazy to be safe and the rights of those with less-than violent mental illness not to be punished. That's why there's been no suggestions on how to do it.

Otherwise, you're just engaging in paranoid fantasies that someone is trying ot take your firearms away-no one except the Brady Bunch is.

Hungry,

I don't think anyone in their right minds doesn't want to find a cure for these more than terrible usless killings. I can maybe think of only a very few cases of useful killings.

There is always the statement that guns don't kill people, people kill people. That too only goes so far.

In my humble opinion, I think the real issue is with government intervention. I, like you am a Christian and also an American. In my minds eye, the reason for so much contempt for government gun control is the fact that so many see what happens when you give big government an inch, they take 5 miles.

It may start as a reasonable way to curtail some violence. the facts however, tell us that gun control does not make a difference in curtailing viloence. i.e. Chicago.

When we can agree to trust each other and the governmet, there shouldn't be any need for gun control, we can control ouselves. Just sayin

Why do you think that homosexuality became so prevalent after WWII. It has always been with us, but not so pervasive as after WWII and they came home. Live Love from the great country of Texas!

I'm a former marine, a draftee, but none-the-less served in a war zone and left my pound of flesh in the field.

The idea that former military personnel should think like you is downright anti-american. And against anything I saw in what we used to call "lifers" Lifers were their own breaded, usually conservative but first and foremost cynics who weren't easily swayed or readily classified into any line of political thought. Most were so anti-political that I doubted if they had any opinions at all, except for deep contempt, for the powers that be.

I find your comments offensive and with a certain anti-military bias. Hark! Some does disagree with me! They must be a bad person, a lair or mentally defective.

As for mr. "I was military before military was queer" I have doubt about your military duties. If you claim there were no homosexuals in the military before "don't ask, don't tell" was repealed, you're dreaming. Even in my short (28 months) of service, it was quite obviously not true.

It was one of those dark, moonless night, unbelievable hot-95 degrees at midnight, and we (the other person in the hole with me) were pissed that these two were screwing rather than watching the wire.

The two of them got reprimanded for failure to keep watch, not for having sex. As Barry Goldwater said: "I thought the only thing a soldier (or marine) had to do was shoot straight."

And that wasn't the only case where such activity was obvious. As a marine, I spent some time around navy squids. Homosexually seemed to be widespread in that branch of the service. Heck, the Navy allowed the Village People to do a video on a United States Navy ship.

Admittedly, my experience was limited. A year in Vietnam and another year or so mending from my wounds and doing light duty. But it's been there a long, long time. My uncle and father, both former marines, told me similar stories back from WWII.

And there is Gen.Smeadley Butler, a four-star general who was thought to be conservative until he made this comment.

"Al Capone? He operated in three cities, I operated on five continents. I was a gangster for capitalism. I made sure Haiti was safe for the banks, that Nicaragua was safe for United Fruits that Mexico was safe for Standard Oil." Butler said he took his orders from the "Boys in the Back Room" who had nothing but profits on their minds.

Butler's comments got him canned for consideration as Commandant of the USMC, but he spoke his mind, and spoke the truth.
I see-this fellow doesn't agree with you so either... (show quote)

"He had good ideas but he wasn't a good person," Dick Armey.

"An organizational genius" William F. Buckley.

"Rules for Radicals can be used as a blueprint for grassroots organization" FreedomWorks.

Check it out-The Tea Party is the biggest consumer of Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals. That's just a plain fact.

So you ran "fairies" out of the Navy, but didn't the Navy have something to do with the production of the Village People's "In the Navy?" Actually, they did.

As a marine, I didn't care how another marine had sex. i did care about getting my throat slit on a moonless night.

Which reminds me of a joke:

A sailor walks into a bar and sees two marines; one sitting at the bar and the other in the corner getting a BJ from a monkey.

"What happening there?" the sailor asked just as the one marine was zipping up after the BJ.

"I'll show you," the other marine said, getting up from the bar, going over to the monkey.

the marine slapped the monkey hard on the side of the head after which the monkey unzipped the marines pants and gave him a BJ. After he was finished, the marine turned to the sailor.

"You wanna try some of that?" the marine said.

"Well, as long as you don't hit me on the side of the head that hard," the sailor replied.

S: As I said before, most on the left abandoned Alinsky by 1980, especially in Chicago. eight years after his death. HIs tactics were to divisive and his organization had a major confrontation with the Chicago Archdiosese, which had funded and given a headquaters to the group.

He was picked up by the Tea Party in the 2010 election cycle and Rules for Radicals has been a major presence in the gruop's libraries since. This is common knowledge and admitted by FreedomWorks and many Tea Party organizations.
