He is not living in the light of a moonbeam. He IS the moonbeam! Don't you remember how that moniker used to be applied to Gov Jerry Brown in CA back in the 70's? Same thing.

They are trying to take the guns away from the vets first because they know that is the one population who knows how to handle weapons and since they have some sort of "mental" problems, that will be enough. I don't believe Cornyn's and Grahams saying,"Oh, that is only for those in mental wards NOW...and will not be decided by the law of the land, which is basically the Constitution, but rather by "boards." I also do not like the timing of all of this. Right at election time, right after all the emotionality of Sandy Hook is over and Obama's diatribe against guns have been forgotten for the moment, now Cornyn and Grahams anti gun lobbyists want promises they gave back. People like Piers Morgan, who should be run out of America for the sake of just being Piers Morgan. He needs to go home and tell his people who to do it. We are quite capable of making our own decisions and do not need big gov telling us what to do. Especially this new anti gun amendment as I referred to above. There is another bill called the Piers Morgan bill and is by pro gun advocates who are using the name to remind us of all of our enemies who want all of our rights taken from us. If one goes, they all will go, one by one. Live Love from the great country of Texas!

One of the highest ranking people over Homeland Security is a Muslim intimately affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, as is Hillary Clinton's chief of staff, Humas Abeiden. Both have connections to that group. They have already infiltrated the White House. And now, Obama in his Union address says, as he has been saying before, Let's close Gitmo. No one has even been charged. I will lay ya odds that he will let them all go. Not a charge, not a trial, but something that seems like it would come under the heading of amnesty. Even for the Sheik who was touted as one of the planners of 911. If not for the fact that all America watched it on TV, they all would be muzzled and not to talk to anyone about what happened, what they saw, because of an "open criminal case" as is the predicament the American survivors find themselves in now. They WANT to tell Congress, the American people and especially the four dead Americans, Sean, Tyrone, Glen and Chris's families what happened. We want to know if there was this so-called demonstration and if, by an off chance there was, how did our Embassy get in the middle of a demonstration? But our gov won't even let them speak. What are they keeping so quiet. I'm sure, after the election, (they want to see if Hillary will win or not) then they will let them speak. But until then, there is little hope. Those were my words. someone who touts the law and now opening says,"With or without Congress," that was making himself king on national television. Someone that arrogant, thinking all power shall go into his hands and at the same time, stating how he loves the Constitution, is a really dangerous man. And we have a real problem and a real threat. But not from outside. A threat from within. Hey, I could write a movie on that, it would make a good title! Live Love from the great country of Texas!

I noticed you used the singular "politician", when you should have used the plural. It was the Republicans who exploited them, not the president. The funding for their benefits was right there in the CR that they refused to cleanly submit.

I've shown that to be untrue several times already - but let me go even a bit further - Obama has clearly taken it upon himself to go beyond any legislation - so even if the rest of what I've already told you didn't matter (ignoring facts is important for Obamaists) can you honestly sugget that Obama could not have interpreted the military funding as authorizing support for the families of those KIA's?

Look where Caroline Kennedy ends up. She, if anyone, would best know where the bodies are buried. Do you think that a New York Socialite really wants to be way way away in Japan? No. she has been demoted the way a sheriff is when he gets caught drinking in his police car. She, however, cannot put an entire sentence together without choking, so why he was afraid of her, but the rats are jumping ship and it started with Edward Snowden. Now, California, the most liberal of them all, gets hit with the highest tax rate in the country. What will it take until they see through his hope and change scam...actually it wasn't a scam. He truly is wanting the country to be a non Christian, socialistic fundamentally changed society. Live Love from the great country of Texas! chan

Your are right, Moonbeam. I have said all along that Obama is not stupid or incompetent. He wants to bring America down because he hates her. He believes she has obtained all she is by exploiting others and wants her to be on the same level as any other country. That is his Marxist/Alinsky theme of life. He has great plans on how ro do it unless there are the strong who will prevent it. They had better beware because he will go after his enemies. He said once that he wanted to punish his enemies and he has done so on a small scale and wants to do so on a large scale.

I see-this fellow doesn't agree with you so either the "big guns" have rattled his brain or he's a fake.

I'm a former marine, a draftee, but none-the-less served in a war zone and left my pound of flesh in the field.

The idea that former military personnel should think like you is downright anti-american. And against anything I saw in what we used to call "lifers" Lifers were their own breaded, usually conservative but first and foremost cynics who weren't easily swayed or readily classified into any line of political thought. Most were so anti-political that I doubted if they had any opinions at all, except for deep contempt, for the powers that be.

I find your comments offensive and with a certain anti-military bias. Hark! Some does disagree with me! They must be a bad person, a lair or mentally defective.

As for mr. "I was military before military was queer" I have doubt about your military duties. If you claim there were no homosexuals in the military before "don't ask, don't tell" was repealed, you're dreaming. Even in my short (28 months) of service, it was quite obviously not true.

The memory is quite clear-a night on the perimeter listening while two marines in the next hole were making love. It was one of those dark, moonless night, unbelievable hot-95 degrees at midnight, and we (the other person in the hole with me) were pissed that these two were screwing rather than watching the wire.

The two of them got reprimanded for failure to keep watch, not for having sex. As Barry Goldwater said: "I thought the only thing a soldier (or marine) had to do was shoot straight."

And that wasn't the only case where such activity was obvious. As a marine, I spent some time around navy squids. Homosexually seemed to be widespread in that branch of the service. Heck, the Navy allowed the Village People to do a video on a United States Navy ship.

Admittedly, my experience was limited. A year in Vietnam and another year or so mending from my wounds and doing light duty. But it's been there a long, long time. My uncle and father, both former marines, told me similar stories back from WWII.

And there is Gen.Smeadley Butler, a four-star general who was thought to be conservative until he made this comment.

"Al Capone? He operated in three cities, I operated on five continents. I was a gangster for capitalism. I made sure Haiti was safe for the banks, that Nicaragua was safe for United Fruits that Mexico was safe for Standard Oil." Butler said he took his orders from the "Boys in the Back Room" who had nothing but profits on their minds.

Butler's comments got him canned for consideration as Commandant of the USMC, but he spoke his mind, and spoke the truth.

So you think crazy people should have firearms? It's these crazy people-and look at the-Jard Loughner, James Holmes, the guy in Sandy Hook, the guy in Virginia Tech-who are causing all the problems.

Nobody has made any suggestions on how to week out the mentally unfit from firearms ownership-none. It's a difficult balance weighting the rights of the non-crazy to be safe and the rights of those with less-than violent mental illness not to be punished. That's why there's been no suggestions on how to do it.

Otherwise, you're just engaging in paranoid fantasies that someone is trying ot take your firearms away-no one except the Brady Bunch is.
