The most free Nation ever in history is not good enought for the loony left. They would replace it with hell?

Put it down big, plain, and straight. This isn't about racism, Lee, or the Civil War. This is liberals methodically destroying America's history so that they can undermine the country's founding and the founding documents. Ultimately they're going for the Constitution, the history books and anything they where told in school to hate.

George Washington may be the face of the American dollar bill, but he might not be welcome anywhere else in the United States… at least if radical leftists get their way.
Just days after historical memorials of Confederate soldiers were pulled down by angry liberals, the mobs have found a new target: American presidents including Washington and Jackson.
A pastor in Chicago has reportedly demanded that the mayor remove the names and statues of famous presidents from parks on the South Side of the city.
According to WBBM News, that demand is based on the claim that the city shouldn’t honor any historic slave owner within black communities — even if the figure was a pivotal figure in American history.
“A bronze statue of George Washington on horseback stands at the corner of 51st and King Drive, at the northwest entrance to Washington Park,” explained the CBS news station.
If Pastor James Dukes gets his wish, it won’t be there for long. On Tuesday evening, he published an open letter to Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Facebook, and made it clear that he sees Washington not as a
hero, but as a villain.

(I ask the readers to imagine what Pastor James Dukes life would be if he had not been born in America, but in the Congo of Africa. This man is a fool. )

When I see that, I see a person who fought for the liberties, and I see people that fought for the justice and freedom of white America, because at that moment, we were still chattel slavery, and was three-fifths of humans,” Dukes told WBBM. (point in fact, the Democrats passed this law.)

The pastor then compared Washington to a kidnapper, and implied the Founding Father was a “disgrace.”
“Some people out here ask me, say ‘Well, you know, he taught his slaves to read,’” said Dukes. “That’s almost sad; the equivalent of someone who kidnaps you, that you gave them something to eat.
“In an African-American community, it’s a slap in the face and it’s a disgrace for them to honor someone who was a slave owner,” he continued.
Just yesterday, President Donald Trump predicted that figures such as George Washington would be the next target for crusading liberals — and it looks like he was right.
“So this week it’s Robert E. Lee,” Trump told reporters, as reported by Business Insider. “I notice that Stonewall Jackson’s coming down,” the president continued.
“I wonder: Is it George Washington next week, and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after?” Trump said. “You know, you really do have to ask yourself — where does it stop?”
Reporters mocked the president for that prediction, but Trump didn’t back down.
“Was George Washington a slave owner?” asked Trump. “Yes,” replied a reporter.
“So will George Washington now lose his status?” asked the president. “Are we going to take down… are we going to take down statues [of George Washington]?” Trump asked. “How about Thomas Jefferson?”

“You’re changing history, you’re changing culture,” the president pointed out — a claim that James Dukes’ statement seemed to confirm.
“We will not allow the atrocities of slavery and racism to live through memories in our communities; instead, they should be eradicated and dismantled,” the black leader demanded.
That statement could not be more misguided — especially for a Democrat. Dismantling memorials to central figures in America’s formation doesn’t change the past. It only ensures that the lessons of history will be quickly forgotten and doom future generations to repeat the same mistakes of previous centuries.
The manufactured outrage about statues and park names proves one thing: It was never just about the Civil War.

As Trump very astutely pointed out, eliminating every historical figure who was less than perfect is part of a scheme that has no end in sight.
By the same logic, no human is worthy of historical admiration or remembrance.
Liberal “hero” Franklin D. Roosevelt put Japanese-Americans into internment camps. Black icon Martin Luther King, Jr. had a known problem with adultery. John F. Kennedy did, as well. Malcolm X excused violence and was often racist.

Liberals have found a way to drive a wedge between Americans and our history, and they will continue to divide people by any means necessary.
The demands against Confederate monuments were just the first step, but make no mistake: All of American culture is next in line.
At the end of that line of targets are the core documents of the United States: The Constitution, its Bill of Rights, and the Declaration of Independence.
It isn’t that far of a stretch to envision unhinged leftists demanding that the Constitution’s signatures be considered null and void because slavery existed in 1787. After all, that is no more absurd than removing statues of George Washington because he doesn’t fit the social justice version of history.

America is not perfect, but it is good. Its culture and past are under siege.

The logic of this mob is to sink the life boat they are in.

How would they feel if the Right pulls down all the Martin Luther King, Jr statues and change all the street sighs with his name on them?
The time to defend it is now, before every last statue and document is smashed and shredded at the alter of revisionist history and political correctness.

Sounds to me like it was one pastor with a bad idea and not a "mob" or "group of leftists". Awful lot of assumptions and generalizations. For all we know, that pastor could be a die hard Republican.
