My name is Cindy. I just got hooked up with this site and am lookin' forward to meeting like minded folks as well as getting to know another point of view. I love diversity but frown on haters. Totally uncool. I'm don't affiliate myself with any party except for primary purposes for which I vote repub. I consider my somewhat of a fiscal conservative. But mostly I'm just me, a good 'ol country gal. I enjoy riddin' the Harley and chillin' with my babies (in the pics). Hope to chat with ya soon.

Welcome!! As you can see, lots of animal lovers on this site, to be sure. Also, lots of diversity for that matter. Hope you enjoy the ride on OPP as much as you enjoy that Harley!!

I'm from South Texas a really great city. Like I tell everyone on this forum, if you want to see a black blues singer at an Eastside Juke joint, or a great accordionist on the Westside, well you're not taking your life in your hands. We all get along here. We are in a big city, but it is home for me. I don't like my country very much right now, but I absolutely love my Southern ground. Our gov, Perry, drew "a line in the sand" to Obama, with all the Texas legislators behind him, saying we don't need any Washington bureaucrats coming down here and telling us how it's done. As one of my bumper stickers say, and as per Ray Wylie Hubbard's song, "Screw you, We're from Texas!" Live Love from the great country of Texas(I ALWAYS end my posts with that).

Bumper stickers up my way say "we don't CARE how y'all did it up North!!" Amazing how transplants or "others" are so quick to tell others how they don't know what they're doing. Around here, when somebody starts in, I just smile, and say not a word, thinking they'll find out soon enough.

That's like David Allen Coe's "Sittin up Drinkin' with Robert E. Lee and the chorus goes, "And Robert E. Lee did not them Northerners one bit. He was a Rebel and he knew it and he didn't give a shit. We been talkin' about Dixie and how old times used to be, I been sittin' up drinkin' with Robert E. Lee." I have another bumper sticker that says, "We need a Hero," and it has Robt.E. Lee's picture on it. I went to a high school whose name was Robt E. Lee and our football team was called the Rebels. That was the year we made state and Tommy Kramer joined the Vikings in Minnesota. Don't really care for sports tho.

I'm not a HUGE sports fan, but I do like football and soccer. I have watched a few polo matches up close -- they were exciting -- probably because they were a whole bunch too up close!! Let's see, Tommy Kramer joined the Vikings in 1977 I believe, which makes me, oh, a year or two older than you, since I graduated from high school in 1965.

A bunch older, I went to 1st grade at 5, so I graduated when I was 17. And Tommy Kramer was drunk much of the time he was playing football! Live Love from the great country of Texas!
