Well... to be honest Linda, that obstruction isn't anything close to what the Republicans were throwing at Obama and yet Obama was still able to push through legislation. I think the problem is Trump can't seem to gauge what is possible. As a result, he makes idiot promises that he can't get anyone to follow through on.


As much as clown wants you to think these jobs are the result of his own "negotiating skills" the fact of the matter is those jobs would have been created anyway, in fact the only jobs that have actually increased significantly are minimum wage jobs. As for "real jobs" the rate at which they are opening up versus being lost is about the same as it's been for the past few years. The only difference is we have a president trying to take credit for them now.


Not stopped... slowed down. And that's not because of any laws or official policies, it's because of the hateful attitude clown is promoting... Immigrants are scared of coming here now which is screwing the farmers that depend on them.

True business is what the GOP forgot they were supposed to do. At least when Bush was in office, the Republicans were actually doing things. I disagreed with almost all of them but that's why Bush was so much scarier. Clown can't do shit and his party seems to be completely unable to legislate anything. Clown has to rely on his executive orders (which only impact his own branch of the government) to create the illusion that he's actually doing anything.

It's my honest opinion of him. I am not calling him an animal, because he is a person... but people can be clowns. It's been a long time since we've had a president that's so fat and I don't think we've EVER had a president that wears make up like he does. Then there's the comedy; he starts off with these unrealistic pitches that amaze the audience but he can't get anything legislated and half his executive orders get overruled for being unconstitutional. So he jumps on Twitter to bad mouth all the people that he thinks got in the way. Six months into his term and people are starting to catch on... and a lot of us are laughing.

Our President, yours' and mine is doing what he can with Democrats and Republicans forgetting who sent them to Washington. You don't see it because the media you listen to, do not report it but Trump is moving forward on his agenda. He has rolled back much of Obama's destructive environmental and regulatory job killing rules. Those people who are catching on and laughing are the same ones who voted for Hillary and lost. If you believe Trump has lost one supporter then you haven't learned squat since your girl Hillary got her brains beat in.

Here's the thing Steve... Chavez took control of the entire economy decades ago. So your propaganda needs to be updated (his regime isn't "taking over", it took over... 20 years ago.). Here's the other thing... for most of that time the people were fine and they loved Chavez AND the socialism that was totally working for them. It was working because it was being fed by massive oil revenue. Any system will work if you feed it enough. But something changed right after Chavez died. The price of oil dropped.

See, I can actually explain how a nation's economy that is 100% dependent on a single commodity can wind up like Venezuela. It's pretty easy to explain and when you see the price of oil drop to historic lows and then you see shortages of everything Venezuelans have to import because they don't have money to buy anything... because they can't make enough off their one thing... oil... THEN you see riots in Caracas... it all makes mathematical sense.

All you got is the same tire old argument... that socialism is bad. No explanation just a baseless opinion dictated into a microphone.

It wasn't a lack of efficiency in farming. It was a lack of efficiency in data transmission. The government agents were supposed to report the yields and the central government responded with quotas. The yields were often misreported and so the quotas were based on bad data.

A better leader could have succeeded without any of the starvation using the same system. I explained this in my previous post but I guess you didn't have time to read it. I'll put it in a bumper-sticker nutshell for you... It's not the system, it's the people.


LOL... OK, I'm going to start by agreeing that people tend to be most efficient doing things they are inclined and love to do. I just think it's funny that you seem to think government isn't something that people have an inclination and a passion for. You think police officers get on the government payroll for the money? You think teachers put up with bratty kids all day for the paycheck?

And let me tell you something about corporate business because I get the feeling I have WAY more experience with it that you do. The government can NOT hold a candle to the corruption and waste that goes on in corporate America. We just don't hear about it as much because corporate business is... private business.

First of all, you don't know what media I listen to... and this might sound like an alien concept to you but I don't just listen or watch... I read too and I don't limit myself to one perspective. I read the range from Mother Jones to the National Review. I don't watch Fox because that's TV and I don't watch TV. So I guess it's possible that Trump's amazing advances are only being reported by Fox News...

I'd say it's far more likely that the media YOU listen to isn't following up on any of these stories once they get to the point of failure. All over the nation mayors and governors are resisting his supposed advances, and stalling implementation pending court appeals. On the occasion Trump wins a small victory he blows it up ionto this dramatic historical event and it makes his supporters think he's doing so much more than he is.


There WERE no job killing rules. Most of the Obama regulations actually promoted jobs. It's just that it doesn't suit the anti-Obama narrative. As for the roll-backs... yeah, he did some (which will probably just be reinstated later) but the big ones are still pending court decisions.

Trump is relying on the gullibility of his dumb-ass base. Part of his problem is that he's totally stalled and it's because he can't push his fascist agenda any further without expanding his base, which he can't do because no one else wants anything to do with him. His base has remained true and solid but it's not growing because there are only so many morons in the country.

Corruption is a hallmark of the left and the further left the more corrupt. Obviously, you can't expect the corrupt to be efficient or do anything well, other than increasing and ensuring the maintaining of their power. If a society can Not exist in a healthy condition without having oil to sell, what does that tell you? Certainly you know the old saying "socialism (and communism) works until you run out of other people's money".

And what are you talking about with the corruption and waste. Our government has far more corruption and waste that would be allowed in private business, and a socialist or commie business would be far more corrupt and have much more waste than in our government.
