My vote would have to go to DJBitch. If you look at the list of topics he has posted, many of them have no replies at all. Most of them have few replies. Probably because everyone is on his ignore list. I have to wonder why he's still here.

People who use the ignore list need to win. They need to win more than the rest of us need to win. I mean why do any of us post a topic? We want others to read it and comment on it. We even want others to challenge us. Of course we all want to best those who dare challenge us, but what if the person disagreeing with us is smarter and better spoken than we are? What if they constantly make us feel bad about ourselves and our beliefs? That can be a big problem if your ego is a little weak. So the solution for some is to use the ignore button to silence their betters. Just leave those who agree with us and those we are not afraid of. The ignore button is a way to feel better about ourselves in the face of evidence to the contrary.

I have 17 people on my ignore list. None of them are my intellectual superiors. I blocked them because they are some if the most ignorant, dishonest, and disagreeable people I've ever met. Every one of them deserve to be on it.

I stand corrected, but as much as I am tempted I have yet to use that option. I have been silenced more than a few times on OPP and I consider it a destructive feature.

I look at this way. I don't have to listen to what someone has to say, if I don't want to. The people I have on ignore have nothing positive to say, and I don't want them on my threads. Simple as that. There are plenty of people I disagree with who are not on my list, because they are at least intelligent, and if not respectful, are at least not complete jerks.

I just took norte off my ignore list and I was expecting to see a whole mess of subjects by him and low and behold not a one it looks as if he vacated the site.

Without liberals we are in danger of becoming what I constantly decry about liberal sites and that is an echo chamber. Of course we are all brilliant, BUT.

I don't mind debating liberals. But I refuse to engage closed-minded fools who can only ignore the facts and hurl insults. Like the ones on my ignore list.

I am a veteran of these type of forums. Many no longer exist or I guess they migrated to social media, which I am not thrilled to do. The liberals I spoke to 10-15-20 years ago were just as crazy but some were intelligent and cared about the honesty of their positions. They cared about getting their facts accurate. I see none of that here.

How does that saying go? "It's easier to fool someone than it is to convince them they've been fooled." And that only explains some of them. Many of them are simply anti-American/anti-Christian Evil S.O.B.'s who hate the truth. It is impossible to debate these fools. That's why they are on my ignore list. Debating them is child's play. All you have to do is question them on what they themselves say in their posts and they either clam up or begin using profanity. I have yet to see the liberal on OPP who breaks that pattern.
