interesting comment from someone who has no idea what the ACA is. For instance, that the ACA was found to be a TAX by the supreme court, which is the only reason we're stuck with it. And that premiums are significantly higher for those that pay for it, due to things like obstetric care coverage being required (even if you're an over 50 female. As far as the :"poor people" on medicaid that you reference, there is a large population in this country, in case you were unaware, called the working poor, who DON'T get medicaid. What they do get is premium reduction/forgiveness under the ACA. Please educate yourself on these and other facets of this TAX before commenting further on this costful, unmitigated disaster called the ACA.[/quote]

Premiums were rising every year before the ACA, so they are no higher than they would have been without the ACA. Obstetric is not required of anyone unless they need it and it is not mandated. Republicans should leave ACA alone. There is no need to repeal a program that is dying on its own. Insurers are bailing out of ACA. Aetna reported that they will leave ACA next year. Aetna is possibly the biggest insurer still in the program. When they bail next year, many states could be left with no insurance companies. When all insurance companies are gone from ACA, the program is done, no need to repeal it. At that point, Republicans could come galloping to the rescue with a new, viable program. Trump and Republican would get credit for saving healthcare, giving them the White House for many years to come.
