Give me one example...
...of a prescription drug that has cured someone. All pharmaceutical drugs do is treat the symptoms. They do not improve one's health in any way. So. Give just one example of a prescription drug curing someone. I'll bet anything you can't do it. Nature is the best cure for anything you might have. There are many cures for things from diabetes to cancer, yet they are being suppressed because they cannot be patented for profit. We really need to get the word out.
That's not a manufactured drug. It is something that comes from nature. It has also given us resistant bacteria that will take countless lives. Try again.

Most drugs come from nature. There are thousands. The problem is that we are destroying the rain forest and tropics where many of the drugs are found, or are yet to be found. Mother Nature provides everything we need but we squander it away.
You probably think the old story about Oleo Margarine being only one molecule different from plastic is true.

I agree somewhat with your basic premise, but like most things there are exceptions and some drugs (a few) have great value. If you are severely injured in a car wreck you probably need morphine, not some homeopathic trituration. The real problem is Big Pharma and their rapacious need to get as many people into some sort of medication habit to boost their profits. This is why you see those "ask your doctor" commercials that show healthy vibrant people (supposedly on meds) that then quickly gabble about the horrendous side effects that sound worse than the condition they are supposed to treat. In truth Big Pharma have taken over from Big Tobacco because they have identical agendas.

It's also proof that the love of money is the root of all evil.

I would say that the love of power and all it's benefits including money is at the root of all evil.

Power would lose its attraction without the ability to make lots of money. If you are powerful, you are rich. They go hand in hand. Thus, the love of money is the root of all evil.

It isn't just the manufacturers, it's the wholesalers, and pharmacies too.
There are 3 wholesalers who pretty much control the market nation wide.
McKesson, Cardinal, and Amerisource-Bergan. There are smaller companies trying to get into the market, but those 3 mostly have it sealed up.
I have read their invoices for years, and have always been shocked at the difference between the wholesale, and retail price. On some drugs, it would blow your mind.
It's all about the money, and the reason they want the government involved is to keep the money flowing.
I have met dozens of independent pharmacists over the years, and with the exception of one, they are all wealthy democrats making gross profits on what they sell.

One way or another, everything comes from nature and penicillin is most assuredly manufactured. If you want a specific kind of drug and a specific means of production, please specify it.
Antibiotic is another word for poison. Since the germs that can survive the poisoning are by definition, resistant, we are reducing the populations of susceptible organisms and increasing the resistant strains. That's called evolution by natural selection... or unnatural selection, if you prefer. Life is a zero sum game.

Sooooo, you're saying there was no evil before money?

Bacterial resistance to antibiotics is not evolution! The reason they become resistant is because they lose the ability to ingest the antibiotics. They do not evolve. They devolve.

Every act of evil has its roots in self-interest. It is human nature to promote oneself at the expense of others. And it is all about greed. It doesn't have to involve cash, but it always involves some kind of profit. Money is not the only currency.

Exactly correct. Mr. Bombastic should have limited his reader's survey to drugs for chronic diseases. Western medicine excels in treating traumatic diseases, and drugs for treating traumatic injuries, including morphine, all have their place. But for chronic diseases, Western medicine offers essentially nothing but drugs which are either worthless or sadly, downright harmful.
