Also, my brother has a ranch south of here with a feral hog infestation that would blow your mind. He can't kill em fast enough. If you kill a 300 pounder, and go dump it by the trash pit, it will be gone in 3 days without a trace.
Arch, my son and I make a lot of sausage and I keep thinking I wished I lived where I could knock off a wild pig now and then. It is the old story, too much of anything is intolerable. We have some farms over in Orange county where the farmers kill five or six deer a day because they are attacking their orchards or pumpkin patches. They then have to dig ditches to dispose of the carcasses. They are a prime nuisance to the farmer and time waster for them but the rest of us struggle to get a shot at just one in a season.
