Raw propaganda. Hitler and Stalin were allies before the war, during the war, and even as ghosts after the war. Take a look at an old KGB spy's tales:
"Icebreaker: Who Started the 2nd World War" by Viktor Suvorov.

The European Jews of the Holocaust were capitalists, with tight successful communities, highly envied during the Great Depression by both the Soviet Union and the National Socialist Workers Party (NAZIs) of Germany.

There are many Russian Jews "Refuseniks" all about who escaped the USSR the minute the Berlin Wall came down. Talk to them.

However, there was a connection between Germany and the Soviet Union. The connection was Fried. Krupp et al.

Stalin and Hitler concluded a non-aggression pact on August 23, 1939. Also known as the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact after their respective foreign ministers, it called for a period non-aggression lasting 10 years and defined spheres of influence as well as secret territorial protocols. Subsequent amendments led to trade cooperation and adjustments of some borders.
It was abrogated unilaterally on June 22, 1941 when German forces invaded the Soviet Union.

I've already had this argument with saltwind. Look it up. I don't have time to do it again.

I agree with you Armagh, Stalin and Hitler were never allies. Stalin just tried to handle Hitler like the League of nations, tried to. Stalin gave Hitler what he wanted and Hitler gave Stalin what Stalin wanted. Then Hitler invaded the Soviet Union.

I wish I could find the discussion I had with saltwind. He is wrong in his belief about the Non-Agression Pact. Unfortunately that is a belief that is being taught in the Leftist American universities.

When Hitler and Stalin made their pact they both got what they wanted, time. Hitler got time to deal with France and Great Britain, and Stalin got time to rebuild his army. It worked out better for Hitler than Stalin. He did not have to worry about fighting on two fronts. Stalin gambled on a longer war and did not complete his rebuilding before Hitler turned on him.

Did you know that before the Soviets signed the Non-Aggression Pact with Germany they tried desperately to interest France and Germany in a Triple Alliance?

"On April 15 [1939] therefore, the Soviets received formal proposals from Whitehall and the Quai. They found them disappointing. The British merely asked Russia to follow their example and affirm the independence of Poland and Rumania. The French had wanted more. They had proposed that Britain, France and the Soviet Union come to one another's aid should Germany make war on any one of them, but Chamberlain and Halifax weren't prepared to go that far.

"Litvinov wanted them to go much further. The following Monday he rocked the chancelleries of Europe by handing Sir William Seeds, the British ambassador in Moscow, a formal proposal, which, if it succeeded, would insure that any Wehrmacht offensive in the East would be met not only by Poland but also by the much larger resources of the Soviet Union, including the Red Army."

It was rejected.

From "The Last Lion", by William Manchester. Litvonov was the Soviet foreign minister, Whitehall and the Quai were the British and French foreign ministries, respectively.

The Ribbontrop-Molotov Non-Aggression Pact was signed August 23.

You must be either very young and educated by Common Core, or trapped in some jail cell. There are so many ways to approach this debate, but I suggest you start with holocaust rescuer, Raoul Wallenberg, the son of Swedish bankers who knew too much and vanished in the Gulag.

International Roundtable on the case of Raoul Wallenberg sponsored by the “Memorial” Society, Moscow.

The Soviet/German military industrial complex built deep inside central Russia starting in 1926 and continued through WWII, left an international banking trail of finance that the Wallenberg family of bankers were privy to. Once the Berlin Wall came down, the KGB released some of its archives to historical researchers, documented by 60 Minutes, but then withdrew the documents from circulation. I think the show was titled Stalin & Hitler which was on TV back in the 1990s. More KGB Archives are coming out today.

Yes I knew about that. Barak Obama, I mean Chamberlin was a real clown. But that is what you get when you think you can appease evil. History never stops repeating itself because Human beings are stupid.

Would anyone care to get back on topic, "How would you deal with Syria over the chemical attacks?"

Seriously, what would you do? Events are occurring as we speak.

We have nukes. We should use them. But then, Israel will probably beat us to it. According to Prophecy, a coalition of Arab states will attack northern Israel. It's fortified cities, in the North, will be destroyed. Then Damascus, the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, will be destroyed overnight. Never to be inhabited again. Sounds like a nuke to me. What else could it be?

We'll never use nukes.

Btw, when was this "prophesy" of yours written? Israel didn't exist until after WWII. Just more noise.

Simple answer. Stop financing socialist nations worldwide. Let them collapse on their own weight.
Assad is Socialist, the UN is Socialist, the European Union is Socialist, Western Ukraine is Socialist, China is socialists, and Cuba, Venezuela, and Iran are Socialists. Why is the United States subsidizing the very thieves that attack us? Peace at any price is not working out, is it?
