Black Lives Matter and other liberal groups who want to kill policemen are slowly finding themselves liable to hate crime laws in states as they pass these laws. It is past time for this kind of law to be passed by the Congress, I think.

Wow! You mean it was legal to kill cops before they passed this law? Who'da thunk it? Well, that fixes it now, anyways. These Black Lives Matter extremists won't dare kill a cop now. Good. Now if we can just get the rest of the country to make killing cops illegal as well, all will be right with the world.

Of course I'm being sarcastic. But making a cop killing a 'hate crime' doesn't make it any more 'criminal'. Killing a cop is very likely to find you strapped down and hooked up to some deadly cocktail of drugs, or sitting in the electric chair with a cap on your head anyways. These killers who ambushed the Dallas police didn't care that what they were doing is a capital crime and I doubt that calling it a 'hate crime' will make it any more of a deterrent. Same story as the rioting and the illegal immigration we've been seeing. Enforce the laws that are already on the books. That's what they're there for. Anyways, yeah, some politician 'did something'. Good for him.

During the first 7 yrs of the Bush Administration there were 1226 cops killed in the line of duty. During the first 7 years of the Obama administration there were 948. Since the total for 2016 were not included, I did not include 2008 in the Bush totals.

as though that is purpose of the BLM or liberals. It only makes sense to those who cannot discern that fewer police are being killed now than in the past. I have no malfunction.
