Glucon,the wall pays for itself,by keeping out thousands of illegal criminals that we have to provide room and board,cable,work out rooms,ect.ect. At around $40 each per year. Plus Mexico WILL pay for the wall,in fees in money transfers and monies collected at the Mexican border bridges.

I wonder if has occurred to the Looney Lefties that the new southern wall would be a very good thing for all Americans? We could make serious progress in reducing drug flow, human trafficking, illegal immigration and money laundering just to name a few. I also believe that the Mexican underground is moving other terrorist via our southern border into the United States. This would also be a benefit to Mexico to help them gain control over their very large criminal population. Always remember that Mexico is corrupt and does not maintain Rule of Law?

cesspool jones-this subject is too complicated for the lefties. If one illegally crosses into Mexico, he/she is jailed.
However, Mexico expects that anyone crossing from their country into the USA should be given food, shelter, medical care, education, and a job so they can send money back to Mexico. I am told that the illegals cost our government
some 100 billion annually. If that number is correct ,and illegal entry has been reduced by 40%,that would substantially help in paying for the wall. The lefties are so shallow and naive that they think Mexico will write a check for the wall. So when it is included in the budget they immediately view it as a betrayal and a broken campaign
promise. I suppose their vision is directly proportionate to the size of their brains which is most cases is amoebic.
