Does ANYONE,know/realize/care..,that Mccain,along with 32 other (33 total) POWs,were given DISHONERABLE DISCHARGES,from OUR US Military,for the crap,they pulled as POW s????? only to be pardoned by nixon???? I dont give a damn,about nixon giving them bastards pardons,once DISHONERABLE,ALWAYS DISHONERABLE, a pardon is only a piece of paper that absolves them from the crimes they committed, it does NOT remove the dishonerable crimes !!!!!!!!!!!

That information seems questionable although I'd not stake my life on it anymore than I would that Obama was native born. Yet I don't believe anyone who received a dishonorable discharge can run for a federal office or work for the government in any capacity. But who knows or cares what the law says any longer. Once upon a time we were naive to actually believe in the rule of law. Once upon a time that is!

I would like to see some proof of this if at all possible sir. Not that I doubt you but I don't recall this ever being the case is all.

Does that mean that there is no record of the dishonorable discharge at all? It is if they had never been charged at all? They are then free of any infraction and then can do anything and run for any office with no repercussions? WOW

I know I read,about that Dishonerable discharge somewhere,but,i cannot find it now,I MAY have to retract my statement,What I DID find,was that the pardon was in lieu of a DD.

He may not have been the war hero he claims. I've heard that he was treated in a hospital that was serving Chinese and Viet Cong officers. This was because of his father's rank and reputation. He also picked his assignments by what the assignment would do for his career. This all came from a retired Air Force Officer, not anyone related!
