This is how Mexico become the # 5 richest country of the world.

In who's estimation? The highest ranking I can find anywhere is #68. That's just barely in the top 40% worldwide. I'd really like to see who ranks Mexico the #5 richest country of the world, and I'd really like to see how they arrived at that conclusion.

Damn with those restrictions the price of tomatoes and jalapenos might go up 2 cents per pound!

And think of tomatillos! Sheeesh!

I grow my own tomatoes, and jalapenos as well as plenty other vegetables. In fact, I had such a bumper crop, I gave away pounds and pounds, made spice powders and know where it all comes from. No E.coli here!

Being in California, I know we are overrun with illegals, and they send a ton of money to Mexico. With few exceptions, the Mexican men here have a family here, and another in Mexico. Some have been here for 20 years illegally, yet, they have managed to bypass the border. They work under the table, mostly in construction, painting, landscaping, restaurant......
They are here, no doubt.

Now, it would be a tremendous task to round them up and get them all out, as they are a burden on the economy....It is a fact they take more than they give. Don't let any liberal tell you they are net benefit.....They are not.

So, in order to get some funds to build the wall and reduce the costs of illegals and stop them from coming here in the first place.......It is quite simple.

Any wire transfers, Western Union, Moneygram, et.al., to Mexico has an automatic 25% surcharge.
Boom! There you have billions.
Simple. Now, I don't like to put the burden on private enterprise, but, it needs to be done in this regard.

E verify. Employers in all businesses must verify their employees. And, the employers must bear the responsibilty, so there must be consequences if they don't. There will always be a black market, but, you have to go to common sense.....Any job should go to an American first.

Social services......I know for a fact that illegals get social services. How do I know? My girlfriend works for Social Services...
I hear the first hand accounts of people coming in illegally that get support where Americans don't.
Cut this off, and they will stop coming because they won't get a living....That is why they come.....They get taken care of by you and me.

If these simple measures are put into place, it will take years to see a significant change, but it will change.
For the better.

No more sanctuary cities or states......That is just ridiculous!

Give it five years of this "Immigration Austerity" and we start to get the country back and clean house.

One thing is sure.....You let the rest of the world dictate our policies and nation, we are going to split apart.....And that won't be pretty.

Let's do the SMART thing, for a change.

Reuters reported this week that Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray is talking tough about new U.S. immigration rules the Department of Homeland Security rolled out on Tuesday. Videgaray said that Mexico “will not accept” the new rules and that he would be glad to take the issue before the United Nations on behalf of illegal immigrants.

Videgaray’s comments come on the heels of new guidelines issued by DHS as part of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration. The new rules are a sharp departure from the Obama era, and they put the majority of undocumented foreigners at risk for deportation. As far as Mexican cooperation is concerned, it could be necessary when it comes to one part of the new guidelines. In the memos, DHS Secretary John Kelly authorized federal agents to immediately send new border-crossers back to Mexico…even if they originally came from Central America or elsewhere.

Videgaray will meet with Kelly and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson this week, where the new rules will undoubtedly be discussed.

“I want to make it clear in the most emphatic way that the government of Mexico and the people of Mexico do not have to accept provisions that one government wants to unilaterally impose on another,” Videgaray said. “We will not accept that because we have no reason to; it is not in the interest of the Mexico.”

Really? Who is doing the unilateral imposing? The United States, or the country that refuses to do anything to stop immigrants from flowing across the border? In fact, “refusing” is putting it lightly. In many cases, Mexican officials blatantly encourage illegal immigration, and they are enrichening their country with American public benefits. And then they have the audacity to say the Trump administration is threatening their sovereignty?

No one is really buying this, right?

Sorry, but if they came through your country, you can deal with them. If you don’t like it, get control of your own southern border. We may even be generous enough to lend you our construction crews after they’ve finished building the WALL.

I would like to see a law requiring the wall to be built by incarcerated wetbacks. They can be deported after they spend a couple of months building the wall. At least the ones who are not "shot while trying to escape."

Where's Strother Martin when you need him...." Look's like we a have a failure to communicate...."

Mexico is not in the catbird seat. If the US politicians had any cojones, this would not even be an issue.
Yes, get all the illegals and federal prisoners to build the wall. Of course unions would bray, as they always do, but, tough things happen in tough times.

People want results right now? Where were you all when Obama was playing a round with your money?
And he played many rounds.

When the snow get's so thick on the road, you want a snowplow, not a shovel.

I was doing everything I could to oppose amnesty for wetbacks, and to support hard labor for wetbacks in our prison system.
