Pennylynn: Basically, all of the phones, faxes, interfaces, computers, routers, etc. employed by the federal government are monitored 24/7. The users are told this when they are elected or appointed to their post. We must be certain that people with sensitive or secret information about our nation are not compromised by foreign agencies. It is not that "they spied on Flynn" - but more of a case of him assuming since it is now 'Trump's House' that the recording devices had been disabled. Here's a question: "As a private citizen not yet confirmed to lead the NSA, WHY would Flynn take it upon himself to even make that call - and then discuss the "lifting of Obama imposed sanctions" by Trump once he took office?" Flynn would not have direct knowledge that lifting the sanctions was part of Trump's plans unless Trump -or someone high up - told him to do so. Trump and his allies have lied to America from the beginning. Even the "wall" he claims he will build on the border is a lie. Obama had 90% of the wall completed BEFORE his term ended....Trump used that line to gain support from those who unnecessarily fear immigration. Multiple reports (check cnn or usa today) show that because of the wall (already up) illegal immigrants' move to the US has shrunk to the lowest levels ever. Trump is a worthless con man, and looks like a traitor to boot.

Pennylynn: did you know that there has always been some type of physical barrier on the border since the '70's? The illegals began digging and building tunnels in the late 70's...and Border Patrol is finding new ones all the time. A "wall" would have to be 30 feet tall - and totally solid - not a fence type structure....I think of the wall in Kurt Russell's "Escape from New York." Anything less is just a waste of time and money...and would cost billions to build....and millions to maintain afterwards. There are so many, many other things that America needs more so than a NEW wall....like health care, child care, more affordable education, etc. etc.
