Is it any wonder that people are apt to believe that one story (fake or not) when there's a pattern of these macabre killings going back to ISIS's original formation?

I'm starting to think that certain people are posting these 'fake' news stories in order to discredit the plethora of real, factual reports that are being published. What I can't figure out is why. What purpose could this possibly serve?
