Pretty harsh though to deny SSA (not SSI, a different fund known as "Federal Welfare" administered thru SSA) retirees and disability recipients their hard earned income. They paid into the system you now want to deny simply because they live in Californication. Are you willing to pay for their relocation?

Other than that, I'm all for it.

I've heard China is already entrenched in California land ownership relating to food production. During pre-election candidates in Missouri, this may be happening there too. Missouri elected a new Governor (Republican I believe) and may have been the one that ran on this issue. He seems to be "cutting the crap out of government too.

"Giving away" the west coast of our country is not a solution. What is needed is to "take it back". Deport illegals back to their own country and force the state to abide by the laws of this country. Liberals and dems in California are already pissed off, I say piss them off even more!! The only reason they continue to cause problems is because they've been allowed to. Withhold all federal funding from "sanctuary cities", out-vote all liberal politicians from that state in Congress, and don't attend movies or shows starring these liberal celebrities.

A friend in CA tells me 21 counties in northern CA want to form their own state. Jefferson,as I recall. The northern Californians don't really care for the southern ultra liberals. Split it in half and let southern CA go. A thought

I lived there from 1940 thru 1948 when the San Fernando Valley was Orange groves and Santa Monica was a nice little town. My Dad used to take me surf fishing in Venice and there were old wooden oil platforms and pumps everywhere. Also fished off Point Doom, north if Malibu, desolate beach.

I agree with most of what you say except cutting the SS benefits. Those folks earned that benefit and are entitled to it. Not so with welfare, they did nothing to earn that and I've no problem eliminating it. As for the military they could be based along the southern border which could help local economies and reduce the cost of a wall.

I am a life-long conservative living in California - my wife and I firmly believe that the democrats are all loonies, but there is no appetite for any conservative to try to get elected due to the scorched-earth techniques used by the media/liberals during campaigns. We don't think anything will really come of the so-called "Calexit" movement - most of the citizens here recognize what will happen if the federal $$ dry up - but we have seriously discussed moving to another state before secession happens.

California has long touted itself as the place where things happen before the rest of the US catches on. I predict when the budget shortfalls and pension payouts gobble up all available money, things will change - shouldn't be more than a free more years. God Bless the USA - Go Trump!!!
