One of them is RINO McCain but I got an e-mail from the other one, Ben Sasse, this evening that said he wasn't going that way. Old Chunk is a real name thrower. What planet did you drop in here from? I see your post about being a pacifist, and all that. Let me tell you, the Lord does not want no wimps in heaven. He does not expect a "good Christian" to just stand by and let a slaughter take place. Further if you live in the USA, and you are not willing to stand up against the evil in our elected officials, such as Chuck Schumer, they what you are telling everyone is that you want to live in a free society off the sacrifice of those that have died to give all of us that freedom...that you are a moocher hiding behind the word, Christian. There is no "ban on Muslims." There is a 90 day pause in admittance of travelers from 7 dangerous countries harboring terrorists, until we get extreme vetting in place. There are over 40 Muslim nations with 1.7 billion Muslims who currently can access America.

CR, I'm surprised that you haven't picked up that this is the standard tactic of the left. They are going to object to everything Trump says or does. This is what they do. They accuse their opponents of exactly what they have been guilty of. Remember the left calling the right obstructionists? Rush Limbaugh predicted this after Trump was elected. He said they aren't going to go away quietly, they are going to object to everything Trump proposes. This has been proven many times. Schumer has vowed to oppose any Supreme Court nominee that Trump puts forward. He said they are going to oppose the nominee before they even know who it is. Is this exactly what they have been accusing the Republicans of doing for the past several years? Didn't they criticize Trump for not saying he would support the outcome of the election? Look at them now.

Schumer is a prime example of the Washington insider who thinks his function is to thwart the other party in achieving anything of value to the nation. He and McCaine do not have the interests of the nation as a motivating principle. This incessant blather about 'that is not who we are' is so much hogwash; if you look at history, that is who we are.

I think Senator Schumer is deliberately stirring up distraction. The stock market had been up because of Trump's plans on deregulation and cutting taxes. Schumer is stirring up his fellow Jackasses to make sure they do not vote for Trump's economic reforms. Since these latest fights between Trump and Schumer the stock market is down big time. The market feels that Trumps economic agenda is being side tracked by the political sparring.
