My 1st week on this site. At 1st I had an intelligent exchange of information, respectful debate between people of different views. What I want to hear, could change my mind or not.
"Everything we say & do is a direct result of your own personal ethics."
I keep saying that (above) in the hope it will sink-in to a few people. Not one of us knows everything. Not one of us has the perfect point of view.
I despise lies. I have a tolerance for people who get caught-up in rhetoric but despise those who are closed-minds who believe lies. Once a person, even media network, lies to me it is difficult if not impossible for me to believe, trust, them again.
Why are there so many elected politicians in D.C. who are liars, career politicians? Because being lied-to is acceptable conduct to whoever voted for that person. THAT is the impact you make! Don't vote for a liar and you won't have those liars in elected career politician jobs deciding YOUR life.
I am just as ready to defend my loved ones with whatever means necessary. I have much respect for the SGM being in the military overseas in Nam myself. The SGM will understand me somewhat as I understand him. (same generation) How willing are other people to shoot Americans (meaning U.S. people citizens)?
Have you noticed SGM how many people write such violent threats who were never involved in what we were? (real military combat)
I sure could use some help with the "Ethics" issue. Spread the word.

Roadster, I have noticed - it's amazing the people here who make threats who have never been in combat or experienced the sheer terror one feels the first time he or she is shot at "in country" and realizes the person who pulled the trigger doesn't know you but very much wants you dead. As times goes on you will determine who the real combat veterans are on OPP and how much they love our country. As for shooting Americans - I absolutely will, if they threaten me or the people I love. I suspect you feel the same.
Welcome home my brother, and welcome to OPP. You will soon be able to discern who is real and who isn't. Stick around and have fun, we get a little roudy but seldom fight.
God Bless and I thank each and everyone of you ! Semper fi !!

I didn't serve in our military, so therefore I never saw combat. However, I do know what it's like to get shot at, I've been stabbed, beaten half to death and in more bar room brawls than one can shake a stick at. Granted, those were my younger days. These days I have a .40 cal on me from the time I get up til I go to bed and I'm pretty proficient with it as well. If someone tries to take my life, or worse yet the life of my wife, my three girls, six grand kids and one great grand son, I think one would find out just how damn mean I can get. I'm not trying to sound like Rambo, or trying to start a pissing match on a forum. I just want you veterans to know that there are some of us civilians out here that will walk side by side with you. I owe my "FREEDOM" to you guys and by God, I want you to know it. In liberty my friends.

Firstly I think career politicians are inherently liars otherwise they would never be reelected.
Secondly, I think there is so much unseen activity that goes into winning an election that the average voter does not have any idea of what is behind the scenes, voter fraud, buying votes as examples. There is always an agenda.
How many politicians deal with obvious problems? Crime, graft, poverty. Lip service, yep. Action, nope.
I can remember almost 60 years ago being warned to never travel alone in certain areas in Brooklyn when leaving or trying to return to our ship. Any improvement in the neighborhood? You know the answer.

I also will be by your side and yes I know what combat is. The question you asked very few will be able to answer. Ranger Recon these are my credentials from the Golden Arrow. Spearhead past the front for my combat and American Patriots

Sons of Liberty, I can more than appreciate your stance - it matters not to me that you did not serve, I have a lot of friends who didn't and my comment to them is "it's okay, you didn't miss anything". I trust them with not only my life, but the lives of my family and based on what you have said - you, my friend are also in that elite group. As for your .40, I too have one and it is my "inconspicuous" companion where ever I go.
I appreciate and respect you my friend and don't take anything you say as sounding like Rambo.

Know you would too!!
Thank you Miss LJ! I'm not logged in very often, but am on to read the comments most days.
Hope you have a great weekend! Supposed to be nice here in central Alabama, might have to get the old Harley out and go for a scooter ride. 😎
Later,
