I really do think that this "teacher" is a far left leaner and is afraid that the speech won't say what he thinks it might. I listened to the speech and heard the man having at both parties for the way they have acted in the recent past. This clown doesn't want to take a chance on his kids hearing anything they don't want kids to hear. If I was his principal I would offer him the day off so he wouldn't have to take a chance on kids hearing something they shouldn't because of his political lean.

This guy is not a lot different from most of the NEA people back in 1976 when I got the hell out of the NEA. It was very obvious what they were going to do with the Dept. of Education even that far back. That was too close to the formation of the Department and turning it over to the NEA by Jimmy Carter. They gave him at least as much as anyone else did without asking the membership if it was alright. They got what they wanted, in control of the new Department and he got a pile of money. I insisted on my share of that money which was a whole $4.65. I was still a Democrat back then but not a very good one.

I taught my history and government classes as fair as I could and never tried to convince kids that either side was the right one. That was before Fox News was in existence but I tried very hard to be as fair and balanced as I could. I liked to have kids discuss things like that speech but how could I do that not letting them hear it? These people who are playing that game are so obviously left leaning and don't want their kids to hear what may be a conservative speech.

When he said that we will not push our values on other countries, I truly wished he would have also said that in no way shape or form would we allow other countries ideologies or values to be shoved down our throats like Islams Fricken sharia law here in the United States either. These liberal/democrat teachers have been teaching our kids stupid things, resulting to our public schools that rank lowest of # 37th among 3rd world countries. Despite that money provided to US public schools is 5 times more than that of other countries with very high performance.
