Fort Lauderdale airport shooting

The story continues to unfold, and this tragedy is just another in the long list of mass shootings.

A person, allegedly the shooter is in custody. He flew into Lauderdale on a Canadian air flight. His gun was in a checked bag, which he retrieved after landing, he went into a mens room, loaded the gun, and came out shooting.

He used a military identification to carry the gun in his checked bag, and the ammunition in the carry on.

His name appears to be Santiago, and he appears to have acted alone, but police are still investigating.

One thing is certain, flying will become much less in the aftermath of this shooting.

No , what this jerk just did will make it impossible for ordinary citizens to transport their weapons via separate bags, cargo and carry-on. You know they will install "policies" that prevent you from traveling with your weapons.

Once more, a blanket application of "safety" laws will unjustly inhibit activities of law-abiding persons.

This nation is in the grips of insane persons. Vote-hungry politicians will pass laws. The laws will accomplish little to nothing but erase, incrementally, the liberties of all. And, politicians like Cuomo, and the entire herd of dem/progs will cheer as they go about their day under the careful 24/7 armed protection of their security personnel.

Can't wait to see how this is spun. A person with a Latino name flying in from Canada with a military ID shooting up an airport. Possibilities are staggering.
Condolences to the victims and families.

The person who committed this act is an American citizen born in New Jersey, from Puerto Rican parents who are also American citizens. The young man was in the National Guard and was sent to Iraq, came back sick in the head needing psquiatric attention for a while. He was working in Alaska as a security guard, and has been having marital problems. A relative, his aunt spoke to reporters yesterday. No one knows what triggered this reaction upon landing in Fort Lauderdale.
