Why is critiquing someone, "left".

I have read his column, but let's face it, he wasn't a voice in the wilderness. He towed the party line, even when it was clearly wrong.

At best he will be remembered as an editorialist and nothing more, full of opinion and very little practical experience except at being a suck up.

I heard that he had converted from Marxism. As every wise man would have.

Do you people take two steps with your left foot for every on with your right when you walk? How do you get anywhere like that?

DB may very well be a closet racist.

It's a sad thing to observe even a thoroughly demented mind make such a fool out of himself. He is to be pitied above all other considered emotions.

My considered emotion for DB is this: nada, zilch, zero, the Big Fat "0"!!! I have no feelings for him at all.

I won't call you what I want to after that post but rest assured that I would have more serious swear words in that reply than I have ever used in toto on this forum.

Oh yes, I share your sentiment totally. The Christmas holy days run thru January 6th, the 12 Days of Christmas and I am trying to respect this period. My lexicon of swear words I try and keep submissive to my will but sometimes fail because I cannot immediately find a word to strongly express a point. Today, after reading some of our @#&$®€¥% progressive contributor comments, and listening to John Kerry's remarks on Israel, I've had to staple my mouth shut and I'm just before breaking a finger.

Easy there Padre, I'm sure there are a whole bunch of us that feel the same way.

One of, if not the best, thinkers of our time has retired at the age of 86. Yes many of the left leaners here who hate the man because he didn't see things as they do or did will be very happy that they don't have to shoot their crap at him because of who he is since he has retired. I have always looked forward to reading anything he wrote, especially on politics, but the politics of the past year have done him in.

At any rate, read his farewell address and the comments that follow his piece. He was a much loved and understood man but 86 just may be too old to write daily columns, or even weekly of monthly ones. One of the comments contains some words I had to really like, "Get a dog and grow old together". Very good advice especially for an 86 year old.

Uncle Tom is a good description of T Sowell. His column appear in my local paper but I usually skim over it because it's there is never any thing there. It's like having oatmeal with out the cream and sugar for breakfast

I've read him but there was never any substance in his columns It amazes that he lasted for so long. His column was in mt paper every week and I always wondered why? here as never anything of interest there He really did sound like an uncle Tom

You skim over it, because it is difficult for you to understand. Anytime anyone uses reason in an argument, the Leftist/Liberals become totally lost and confused. Don't worry about it too much, someone will take care of you.

We must be gentle with DB, he is one of the "disturbed" ones. His mental and emotional development ceased completely at a very early age. I guess that's why he finds Leftist thought so intriguing. It is very simplistic.

And only a liberal would try and pass of the thought in a coma.

I believe Petey is engaging in that masculine form of "push-back". He has no recourse to rational thought, so he tries to convince you that you are what he is. The Leftist/Liberals have been reduced to accusing conservatives of what they do themselves. There's nothing else LEFT for them.
