Give it 12 to 18 months and most Americans will be much worse off If Trump actually tries to bring back jobs or stop them from leaving by bucking and beating up on big business they will do to him what they did to JFK. The Republican party is the small government non interventionist big business party. What Trump promised his chumps is big government intervention the only other tool he will have is to pay extortion pay to stay

Then explain why two major players have announced bringing their business to America including 75,000 new jobs and more than $50 billion pumped into our economy.

He isn't even in office yet and already he has done for us than Obama has in 8 years.

It's time to stop your hysterical doom and gloom predictions and time for you to decide if you want to be part of the problem or part of the solution.

Pick one, but you will live with your choice so pick wisely.

Pick one wisely?

Jumbo "shrimp "

Great oxymoron tag for the leftist liberals to pick anything wisely. They still think obama was a "wise" choice.

These idiots will complain when their taxes go down and every month they have a thousand or more in their pockets to spend.

I've been saying if Donald Trump walked on water , these idiots would complain he can't swim.

Is glucose losing it? He's been reduced to shouting and the movie hasn't even come on yet.

Poor glucose. He must feel terrible being so helpless.

That is the biggest bull I have ever heard. Just wait till he gets in office this country will be much better. We will have hope then.

You will need that hope when social security and medicare are privatized, the FDA and EPA are not allowed to protect our food, drugs, and the environment, our new secretary of state urges Russia to take over the Baltic countries, and you realize that manufacturing jobs are not coming back in any significant numbers.

Could you please supply more information to substantiate your claim regarding these 2 major players? Perhaps a link? I have not been able to find anything, so your clarification and names of these companies, as well as a link to an annoucement or news report would be most appreciated.Thanks.

Apple is one and the other a Japanese firm bringing 50,000 new jobs. It no longer have the articles because this is old news from nearly a week ago. Google them.

Well, found out name of Japanese firm. It is an investment bank called SoftBank. They have partnered wwith the Saudi Arabian Government and several other outside investors. According to the article, it is likely that SoftBank and it's partners would have invested in US telecommunication and IT industry regardless of whom the next President would be, but that Trump's win, encouraged them, since he was more open to changing foreign policies than Clinton would have been. Sounds like a good deal, but the jobs will be geared more for a younger group of people, much more tech savy than those in the rust belt. Plus, I don't think those in the rust belt are going to look kindly on Saudi Arabia funding anything in this country. You know, their anti-islam, other races that are not "traditional, white, Christian Americans." Also found the alleged "Apple" story. Well, it's not Apple at all, but rather a Taiwanese company called "Foxconn." Foxconn is a supplier to Apple. They were already in disccusions and negotiations to expand their operations in the US, even before Trump was elected. They, Foxconn, already have operations here in the US, in VA, IN, and logistic operations in CA and TX. Again, Trump had little to do with their decision to expand since they have already been in direct preliminary discussions before Trump was even elected. Apple also has a relationship with other Taiwanese tech companies located in China who are responsible for churning out the majority of Apple's iPhones. Once again, Trump taking credit for things that were already in progress, and had really nothing to do with making them happen. Typical Trump behavior. Next time, try reading the full article and history behind it instead of just believing whatever King Trump wants you to believe. His narcissism is placing us all in harm's way - bigly.

Angel,

Welcome to OPP..... It is about 90% right wing nuts, but after you adapt to that it is a lot of amusement.. Truly, many of those RW nuts are good people and after a few insults are interesting and thoughtful..

As nearly every new person on OPP is told.... To comment to a specific post, use the Quote reply button rather then the reply button and everyone will know who you are addressing..

glad to have you with us...
