N.C. Officer Will Not Be Charged In Shooting Death Of Keith Lamont Scott
If you live in NC, brace yourself for more riots.
A police officer in Charlotte, North Carolina, will not face charges in the shooting death of Keith Lamont Scott.
Scott's death unleashed two days of unrest this past September in Charlotte, when protesters took to the streets and in some cases threw objects at police and smashed windows.
R. Andrew Murray, the Mecklenburg Count district attorney, said during a news conference that he was "entirely convinced" that Police officer Brentley Vinson "was lawful in using deadly force."

The good guys win again!!!!!
When this was briefed, Scott had a gun and a live round chambered with hammer back..... the surrounding information made it clear, the officer took the only action available. All the witness who said scott was only reading a book... were in positions where they could not see or "borrowed" statements from youtube.
Even with all the evidence, there will be those who will be in denial and go back to what they know best.... rioting, looting, and burning.

And his family says this is not the end of this. I can hardly blame them. If he had a gun, didn't have a gun, shooting by police is unacceptable. And, by the way, I have loads of Christmas in my heart. Do you still have bags of Mr. Putin in your heart?

Only action available...questionable, he could have shot him once and taken it from there...

Well, Morgan. I have heard this was the only action "available" to the officer. I wish no one was killed for any reason whatsoever. More plans in place. Something. Anything. I am opposed to the death penalty. For anyone. No one deserves to be killed by the State. Donald Trump will go wild with the death penalty which is still on the books in California, and has been banned by every other country, except for the Middle East and Nigeria, where it is done vigilante style. Sad.
Of course his family says this is not the end, if they can win the case then they are set for life if they spend the money wisely and their lawyers do not take most of their "awards"off the top. But, if they are like the vast majority of people who are not taught how to manage their finances, they will be broke again within three years. At this point, it is not about a wrongful death, who shot the man, or even justice; it is all about how much they will get from their law suits. To be sure, I am surprised that Charlotte is not a war zone this morning, it seems that BLM was in town and encouraging another round of rioting, but for some reason.... they found few who would take to the streets again, perhaps there was not enough loot in the stores to provide incentive. Regardless, on to your point.... "shooting by police is unacceptable." I have only one thing to say... disarming officers is not in your best interest.
Last, I have respect for President Putin and his willingness to work with the US in as he said in his State of Union Address to Russians ".....solving global and regional problems are in the interest of the entire world. Putin also said he hoped to join the United States to fight the threat of international terrorism." Now then, do you still have "bags" of obama in your heart?

Donald Trump will go wild with the death penalty? Please explain exactly how is this going to happen?
And if the gun in his hand had been dropped, then there would be no reason for anyone being shot. Reminder, the chamber had a live round and the hammer was cocked. That means that Scott was ready to shoot, the only question was which officer he intended to murder.

Way I see it...when a Police Officer tells you to do something, ( stop, put the gun down, get on the ground etc) do what he/she says, simple, follow commands...don't follow commands get shot, simple...just thinkin
Im ALL in for the POLICE,In my past, when a gun was pulled,or pointed at me,I shot and killed that idiot, then I didnt have to worry about him finishing his job.Though I NEVER shot anyone in the back,
If you are implying that scott was shot in the back... he was not.

I must be mistaken so instead of doing what too many here do, I'll just ask.
Are you saying that even.if the facts show this shooting.to be justifiable it is still unacceptable to you?

Of course it would, she is a Leftist ideologue. However, she might feel somewhat different if it was her daughter or grandchild that had been killed by one of the Leftist thugs.

I am mildly surprised that the same people who welcome unvetted muslims with open arms are the same people who fear Putin to be untrustworthy.
